The shoe fit great except it was a little too short. It could have a little better arch support but it was ok.

These shoes have been great for my feet! I am a woman with large, wide feet, so stores never have a size that works for me: I order 11 mediums and they're too small; I order 11 wides and the stores send me an 11medium(!); I order 12 's and they're too roomy and slip off of my heal. Brooks Ariel '20 was "just right"!! I ordered a 12medium and it is big enough, but not too big. It is comfy. I can walk, hike, run and it works. I am so happy with them. In addition to that, I am a teacher and I stand on my feet all day. I used to try to find less expensive shoes to try to save money, until I developed a plantar fasciitis problem. It is not a problem anymore, once I started spending more money on shoes and doing the research. Brookes were very highly recommended, and _for me_ have lived up to the hype. The only thing I don't like is the bright white sole. But, a small inconvenience for all the benefits!

Nice cushioning and great support.

Great shoe. I’ve worn Ariel made by Brooks for years. They fit my extra wide foot with bunions and limited arches. My pronation is less obvious with this shoe and it’s very supportive. The black is fine…it’s black. I would wish for other bright colors, otherwise I love the shoe.

great for my bunions and plantar fasciitis. roomy toe box, space for over the counter orthotics. I just wish they had more colors and were keeping them in stock better so I could get more pairs!
