These are great for flat feet. I've been prone to shin splints and stress fractures in the past and have had no issues since being in the Ariels for over a decade. Just wish Brooks would release some new colors since I've bought two of the '20 colorways two times each now.

Brooks Ariels are the only shoes that fit me perfectly right out of the box. They are so comfortable and cushy. I've been wearing them for about 6-8 years. I've tried other brands in between (e.g., Hoka) but always go back to Ariels.

Brooks Ariel is the ONLY shoe that I can wear because of moderate to severe pronation. I also wear custom orthotics. If it weren't for Brooks Ariel, I don't know how much I would be able to walk without pain! I have even tried other athletic shoes that say they are for pronation, and there was no way I could wear them!

I'm not a runner, but use them for walking. They are the most comfortable & supportive shoes I've worn for walking.

I've been wearing Brooks Ariel's for the last several years. They are the most comfortable shoes out there. I've tried several other brands, and none have fit as well or had the support that Brooks Ariel's have. They are well worth the money.

I have hip and back problems, and I was told by my therapist that I needed to wear good supportive shoes. I have been wearing Brooks for years, but now they are the shoe I wear all the time. They have helped me tremendously.

I am actually a walker - but this shoe is great for people with significant foot problems. I have had severe plantar fasciitis and an Achilles' tendon replacement on different feet - this model has been great. The 20 seems to have a little less toe-box roominess than previous versions. I have appreciated the increased number of colors available since this is pretty much the only shoe I wear.

I absolutely adore these shoes, which are by no means my first pair. My podiatrist prescribed them, and I've never worn shoes that were so perfect for my sensitive (and active) feet. I wore a pair of Addictions while the Ariels were temporarily out of stock, but the minute I knew they were back, I was back on ordering a new pair. They fit perfectly, are light on the feet, and strike the perfect balance of stability and cushion. No other shoe comes close! Love them!

The Ariel shoe provides the best overall stability for my feet, as they tend to supinate. I didn't care for the green and gray color, but I like it more now. I need the Extra wide, and wish more retailers sold them in-store, in my local area. Having to attempt to purchase shoes over the internet is not easy. Once I find something that works, I buy it. I like the solid colors versus what Brooks' is now selling. The super colorful patterns on the shoe and the sole are over stimulating, and look goofy for a senior citizen like myself to wear. Please stick to basic two color schemes, and please keep producing the Ariel, which has a wider outer sole for greater walking stability. Thank you.

Impressive stability with support in both sides of heel and arch. Cushion is wonderful. Double-wide is outstanding comfort. Also loved the Levitate from previous order.

Love these shoes but how about some new colors. So many cute colors and designs with your other running shoes and these are kind of boring.

I am 61 and have tried so many shoes, sneakers and inserts. This sneaker is a miracle for my back and knees. I'm a health care professional and am on my feet constantly, and feel great.
Please keep making this sneaker they are amazing.
I've had 2 foot surgeries before these sneakers, and still feel great.

I am starting a new job as a nurse and when I tried them on, almost immediately, I could feel the cushioning and comfort of the shoe. I have severely flat feet that cause me knee/back pain so I got a wide size and am super excited to have stable shoes to work in as I know I will be stacking up mileage on my feet. These are definitely worth the price and I've never been more happy with a running shoe!

I'm a fan of Brooks shoes! I've been wearing them for several years. They're more expensive, but worth it. My husband and I walk 4 to 6 miles most days so comfort, stability, and well-built shoes are a must. Ariel '20 has all those traits plus they look amazing. I bought mine in a wide width--as I age into my 70's my toes appreciate room.
