I have severe back problems...namely many, many ruptured discs. This shoe has stabilized my feet, and definitely helped me to walk better on surfaces like CONCRETE...which is horrible....and I am not alone about concrete. I highly recommend giving this shoe a try! I am not a runner...just a woman who wants to continue to lead a happy, active life!

I bought these for walking and they were comfortable out of the box. The cushioning keeps my feel comfortable and energized, especially important because I have metatarsal pad issues. I have a narrow foot and they fit really well.

Immediately felt the support for my weak arches.

Comfortable, fits well and it has good stability.

I originally ordered this shoe in an 8.5B which is the size I wear in the Ghost. My normal shoe size is a 7.5W. The shoe fit perfectly without socks. But, with socks, the shoe was too snug. I returned the shoes and ordered an 8.5D. Noe the shoe fits like a dream with socks. The first shoe was the silver. The replacement is the navy and magenta. Both are really nice colors. The shoe is light weight and very comfortable. The support for my knees and ankles is wonderful. I've only had the shoe for a week so I'm still breaking them in, but so far, so good. I would recommend these shoes.

I'm not a runner. I'm a senior who pronates and uses orthotics. I've tried various other Brooks models not %happy. Recently I look at the Ariel. Decided to give it a try. Needing wide width and a bigger toe box I hit the jackpot! It's must sturdier than others too. Now if Brooks would only carry a better color assortment for those of us needing wide width. Fit true to size. No trouble with my orthotics either.

These shoes are great! I have a very wide span over to the side of my little toe and the Doublewide is perfectly roomy. Very cushiony jog also. Highly recommend.

Love these shoes. They are lightweight but very supportive. I live in AZ and they are not hot at all.

I find these shoes to be very comfortable on my daily walks. My only complaint is that the shoe laces are so long I have to double tie them.

I pretty much live in these shoes, especially since Brooks change the style of the Addictions. I would be lost without these Ariels.

This shoe was recommended by a podiatrist and I hope you never discontinue Ariel.

Love the shoe! The cushion and support are great. Because I have such a narrow foot, I have to wear thick socks with them, but that's the sane for most any shoe. I am well-pleased with these shoes!
