I've been wearing Beasts for nearly 10 years so I've seen a lot of iterations. This is the best upgrade yet, in my experience. I went from the Beast 18 to Beast 20. Specifically the shoe is considerably lighter, which make it much better for running. I have major over-pronation and wear a custom orthotic. So I have no choice but to go for max stability in a running shoe, and the Beasts do they job. However prior versions have felt heavy and clunky. This version has all the breadth and stability I need but also feels more energetic/lighter to run in. I bought the size 9D (normal width) in black with white sole. The styling is way better than the 18 and although it's not the prettiest shoe at least it doesn't look like a grandad shoe anymore. It actually looks much cooler in reality than the photos online suggest which was a nice surprise. My ONLY suggestion for improvement... my custom orthotics squeak like crazy. I have to put tissue in to stop it. I think there's a real opportunity for Brooks to design a base (under the provided insole) that has texture so it doesn't squeak for people who use custom orthotics.

I have bunions and the sole and width of the Beast 20 are great. Making walking enjoyable again.

A very nice shoe. This is my 3rd pair. This shoe is has it all..comfort, support. I will be buying another pair.

I have been wearing the Beast for several years. This model is better than the 19 and I do like the guiderails. I do think the upper/toe box still feels flimsier than pre-19 models... Still love the Beast though...

Light, excellent running shoes. Make a high or mid top version! I usually lace it all the way up for ankle stability. I wear 13 wide this looks normal and cool, not like a boat. I usually run these on the street and use the cascade on the trail. I also wear these at work all the time. I buy 2 or 3 about twice a year for the past 3 years. Grey is better looking than black. Make a light blue and light green color please!

I like that the tread wear is minimal on the Beast '20 as compared to the Ghost series, whose tread wears out much quicker.

Wearing this shoe for many years. This may be the best iteration of it. My knees no longer allow me to runk, but the shoe is wonderful for a walk.

This is my 3rd pair of the Brooks Beast shoes and they have all served me very well --- They provide great support for my feet, legs and hips

I?ve had the 16, 18, and now the 20. Always enjoyed the walk in these shoes.

best fit ever for my super wide foot!

I am on my feet twelve hours per day, five to six days per week. My feet, knees, and ankles were giving me a fit. After my purchase, I have seen a huge improvement in how I feel after a long day at work. A second pair is in the works.

Easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I had the Beast 14s before these, and these seem to be even better, and I loved those! When it comes time to replace these, it'll be whatever the current Beast series shoes are for sure.

Well first this shoe is a life saver for me. I been having to stand on my feet 8-9 hours a day. Without the beast I would be in so much pain by the end of the day. Hardly any pain with them. They feel great.

Feels lighter. Support is great A little shorter than the 18 Beast. Don't like the shoe strings, but that is minor.

I was developing a callus on the bottom of the right foot at the big toe joint. With the new inner softness of the Beast 20, the callus has almost disappeared. I've been running in the Beast since it first appeared, and at age 84, will probably stick with Beasts.

I have been wearing the Beast since the 14' came out. I just simply need this kind of support. I have had the 14's, 16's, 18's and now the 20's. The new 20's are by far the best fitting ones of them all. My overpronated feet just love them. It makes such a great difference when I am wearing them. I wear them all day long 7 days a week.

Still the best sneak in the world

In have had several of the top line runners, this one is the most comfortable. I have planter phaseitus? these shoes really helps.
