The length was fine but they are a bit too narrow. I ordered the wide 2E, but definitely were not like other brands!

Great shoe. The drop helped my impacted foot (ligament tear). But the cushioning under the left foot started to ache within a week. Hence planning to return it and try the newer 23 model (still thinking)

Shoes are very snug, but wearable. I've ordered "Beasts" for over 10 years, and these are smaller than previous.

Bottom line, as said by many others, the design is different. The Smart Support hurts my feet. After wearing 10.5 4E for over a decade I cannot find a size in Beast, Addiction, or Dyad the fit without pain on the inside heal as well as the arch of the shoe hits too far back in my arch. I tried 10.5 4e, 11 2E and 4e, and 11.5 2E. The only style that is close to comfortable is Dyad 11.5 2e, maybe. I have an inch and a half of space in front of my toes.
Maybe I'll try the Beast 23, but I'll probably be ordering and returning again, so I'll wait. Or, maybe I can find a pair of used previous version in great shape.

My favorite shoe is the Brooks Adrenaline 22, but I cannot get these anymore in my size. I like to have two current sets of running shoes in service, and I alternate between them. I think this helps prevent knee injury, but that is not a claim support by evidence. I think the Beast is a good complement to the Adrenaline. I wish these models came in the Navy blue color that I used to get on the Adrenaline 22. This enables me to use the running shoes as (sort of) business casual during daily life after I have run on them for 6 months. I cannot do that with some of the flamboyant and colorful styles on offer.

I honestly was very surprised by how different the beast was from previous shoes I've used. I run 3x weekly and have been a Brooks customer for a while, and this is my favorite shoe so far.

Very disappointed. Heels have no support in the foam. Difficult to put on as heels collapse and must be tugged up to put on the shoe. Almost appear to be defective. Not what I expected. Other Brooks shoes have been good.

I've been wearing the Beast since they first came out. I've been wearing nothing but Brooks since 1981. I started with Chariots. I won't trust my feet to any other brand.

I have ran in Brooks shoes for many years now. I also recommend Brooks for everyone. However, I found the BEAST too heavy, very stiff and not very comfortable. I run 5-6 miles a day and have not been able to get these BEASTS broken in and I have gone back to my ASICS until I find the right Brooks for me

Finally a sneaker I can wear that future width wise and doesn't hurt my bunions! They are more comfy then my slippers! I am on my feet on concrete 40 hours a week and these sneakers make it easy to get through the day! I bought 2 pair!

I have had brooks shoes before this new pair and with the same result, they are everything I thought they would be. They fit my feet perfectly and give me great comfort and support. I do not run anymore but walk between 3 and 5 miles a day. I have had two knee replacements and with the new joints in combination of these Brooks Beast shoes, I can walk any distance everyday and have no joint pain or discomfort what so ever. They are a real game changer as far as I'm concerned for me!

I'm not a runner. I'm 76 years old. These make a fabulous walking shoe for me. My last great pair of walking shoes were Keen, and I've worn holes in the heels over 10+ years.

I love them! As soon as I put them on, I knew they were perfect! My Podiatrist told me about Brooks a few years ago, I have the Ghost 13, Adrenaline and now adding the Beast! My favorite by far since I am standing on concrete for 8 hours a day. Thank you Brooks!
