I don?t run! I?ve been wearing the Beast for the last 18 years as my general walking and in office work shoe. I spend near 60 hours on my feet in my office every week. The linear platform & pronation correction designed sole keeps me going on my feet everyday!

The Beast is the best lateral support motion control shoe I have found. I have a muscle function problem in my legs and feet and the Beast prevents my foot from "twisting out" during walking, particularly when changing direction. Well made and comfortable.

The extra wide width is the cherry on top for this comfortable running shoe.

Good support with needed extra room. Will look forward to buying another set soon.

Brooks Beasts are only shoes I can wear and not hurting my flat feet! I wish I could order shoes through Academy ! Need different colors but not available in size 13 med. love the shoes! Great support!

I had two ankle fusion surgeries and the Brooks Beast is the most comfortable shoe for my rehab.

I must like them, because I'm on my fifth pair in two years. On the other hand, the first four pair suffered from a split in the fabric near the strings - which in each case came without much wear to the show. I feel like after five pair I'm due a couple of free replacements.

Actually, I don't use these as running shoes. I have flat feet, and I have trouble with pronation. So I need a stable shoe that will pair with with orthotics to eliminate ankle issues that lead to knee, hip and back problems. The Beast series address those issues with it's construction and stability.

Love the Brooks beast! I use them everyday to play Pickleball in an outdoor Court.

It is really a great shoe and fits and feels good.

I like the arch support and the overall comfort. The only aspect I don't like is the more difficult time to lace up the shoes. The laces snug up good, but it is more challenging together ahold of the laces to do it. I ordered size 14. (which is not on your size question below)

The 18 scored 5 stars, the 20 only worthy of 4. Overall construction and materials seem a little cheap compared to the last model.

This is the only shoe I really wear, I am NOT a runner, but I do have problem feet. This is one of the few shoes I have been able to wear. I am frustrated with the lack of availability and since I have to buy multiple pairs a year the price hurts.

The Beast gets a family shout out. We need the stabilization and support this shoe has given us over many years. Price is good, quality is excellent.

Not a runner but am on my feet working all day on a concrete floor. Prior to finding the Brooks Beast, I had various issues with my feet. But I can state that those problems are, to date, behind me.
