I have tried a dozen or more other shoes and have found that the Brooks Beast is best for me. I don't run in them, I walk. I am 72 years old, weigh 290 pounds, and walk over 5 miles per day on level to slightly inclined paved sidewalks even in winter conditions. They hold up better than others, but I eventually wear them out. I go through one pair a year, which amounts to about 2,000 miles or a little over 4 million steps. Cost per mile or per step is very reasonable.

Beast is tge best and most comfortable shoe for me.

The Beast is truly a "Beast." I first purchased the Revel, and it just didn't work for me at all. The Beast is such a smooth ride, and I have no more pains in my feet or knees.

I?ve been wearing Beasts for years. I don?t run but I wear them as my everyday shoes. I have severe Neuropathy and these are the only shoes that give me relief from the nerve pain. ??

They fit good and feel great.

I have wide feet with flat arches. I bought the Beast ?20 11.5 Wide and it fits great. I?ve owned quite a few Beast models over the years, but I think the ?20 may be the best update for me. The support, cushion, generous toe box and light weight are the best features for me. I hope they keep this fit in future models.

Made with dependable quality, consistency and durable materials. I have been wearing the Beast for 6-8 years and aside from wear of the sole have not had wear in any other part of the shoe.

This is the best shoe for foot health for people with my kind of feet. In most other shoes my arches ache, but my arches love the straight last of the Beast. Please do not change anything about the Beast. from a 20 year Beast buyer.

No problems at all with this for someone who pronates and needs a lot of cushioning.

Due to extreme flat feet and recent feet deformity, I was recommended to try the Brooks Beast 20, as it caters to sufferers of flat feet. This shoe was heaven sent, along with special orthotics I've been able to avoid foot and knee surgery.

Not a runner, I have arthritic feet and you Beast is the only shoe my exta wide size12 feet can tolerate thank you.

The Brooks Beast is probably the best shoe on the market for those with flat feet or any knee problems. The only bad thing is that they are always very hard to find. Seem like the size and style I want are always sold out. One remedy: The Brooks Adrenaline GTS is just as good. Maybe even slightly more comfortable and far more available. I bought two pairs!!!!

Last pair of this size,width of the 2020 Beast. What is the status of the next generation of Beast by Brooks?

Coming out of a pair of Beast 14s, this was a HUGE step up. I need the 4E width and this is one of the few Brooks offered in that wide width. The shoe instantly fit. It's not as heavy or "plodding" as the older Beast; I can wear it all day without pain or being eager to take it off. I am a gym guy and not a runner so it gives me good lateral support and holds my foot securely. Plus, Brooks finally is offering some wide shoes with some color and decent looks - also a reason I like this shoe!

I have bought this specific shoes for years. It is the best I have found for a 225 pound male.
