First time buying this brand, the fit wasn't as great for me as some other brands I have tried but I will still keep. This brand seems to be straighter cut in the waist and hips. I am more hourglass shaped so I have a bit of gaping in the back waist area. I am 28" waist and 39" hip. Tried the 27 and 28. The 27 fit better in the waist but the thigh area was too snug. This might be in part due to the short inseam. I usually prefer a 32" and if I absolutely have to a 28" if I want my ankles to be cold. This was only 27.5" inseam so the crotch tends to migrate down a bit. Despite the very snug (and I do like how close fitting it is) fit through the hip and legs the ankles are loose. Which is a bit odd looking to me. They gap far more on my ankles than the product picture showed. I plan to wear with boot so I can hide the over loose look of them. I probably will never buy this bran again since it seems to be geared to a different body shape than mine but it wasn't horrible enough where a trip to the tailor won't fix the areas where the seams need to be brought in.
