I'm a huge fan of Asics trainers for fitness and following lots of research to get the right pair that would provide support and comfort for longer road runs I opted for this trainer. Unfortunately I have been disappointed. I got the same size as usual but they feel very loose and have even started to rub at the back when out walking. They are also very flat and long, so it feels like you are going to trip up when out running. A real shame as not experienced this before with Asics which I have purchased several times on the internet and with no issues.

I love the previous version of these shoes and own several pairs. Like the other reviews, these shoes are small. For me they were also far more narrow than the previous version. In the previous version I barely needed the wide shoe, in this version it is too narrow. This big of an inconsistency was a huge disappointment from a brand like ASICS. Bummed because the color choices were so nice.

Love the color and look, however, I'm a perfect 8.5 and I typically wear the gel kayanos 8.5 and they were the most comfortable shoe ever! These GT-2000 8's are giving me a little blister/rub on the back heel. Bummer, but hoping they stretch the more I wear them.

These shoes seem very supportive and they FINALLY have some decent color selections, which is why I am giving them three stars. However, I have always worn the same size in Asics shoes. My big toe is almost at the end and my other toes are curled up, too small and seemingly a little narrow. Odd since sometimes I honestly wear a 2A in Ascis and I ordered a B. I am going to try a half size up, and I really hope it will fit me.

I like the style however it's so narrow on my foot, it hurts so bad.. and I already size up to 8 instead of 7

I have been a devout Asics wearer for a few years and have never had problems with narrow width until now. I normally wear the Wide size to fit in my orthotic insoles and the Wide usually works but these did not. They fit inside the shoe but just not comfortable enough to wear normally. Feels like my feet are being squeezed to death! I can't return these since I've worn them so I guess I'll just give them away. Will try the GT-1000 next.

These shoes didn't provide the support I was looking for

The material right above the heel/ achellies area is very flexible and fits incorrectly when putting on the shoe. Wish they put a sturdier material in that place like older versions.

These fit very different from other GT-2000's I've had in the past. They are tighter across the top of the foot & don't work if you need inserts.

These were too tight across the tops of my feet. Had to return. The GT-2000 7 and GT-2000 9 both fit nice not sure what happened with the 8s.

I've been running in ASICS for around ten years and hope this was a dud model of shoe. After about four months of road running once or twice a week, the outer edge of the shoes had been rubbed away to the next layer down. While ASICS can normally with stand MUCH more running and correct for my stride, these were a disappointing pair. The shoe does run true to size and would be good for casual walking.

The height of the shoe is too short, so I find my heels comes out when I'm walking or running in it.

Although I have purchased this same shoe previously, this new pair is VERY uncomfortable. I cannot wear them. Not sure what changed but I will be looking at new brands

I loved the style of the shoe. Unfortunately, I had to send back because of sizing issues.
