They feel looser than the series 6 I had of these. Still breaking in the new shoe, but so far no pain or issues post-run.

For me personally they weren't as comfortable as other asics I've previously owned. The shoe itself is well made and sturdy but for me personally they weren't as comfy as asics I've previously owned. I have worn them a few times and they do feel tight still but hoping they will wear in more. I did order online without trying in a store with the current pandemic and i would have gone up a size or half at least as they do feel tight.

Know that Diva Pink is a glow in the dark neon orange. Very unhappy with an orange color. So not me! But with the pandemic will keep and not mess with returning.

I am happy with the trainers. I love the colour of them and the overall fit.

I have worn GT 2000's for many years for running, walking, and for everyday wear. This model is well constructed, very comfortable, plenty of toe room (as opposed to the 2000-7). But, for me, the colors are awful. Would love to see a dark gray (with no pink on it), which I can wear with jeans.....

Love the color. I find them to be a little narrow for me, but I have a wide foot and sometimes order wide size. This time I did not because I have another pair of ASICS that are regular width that are very comfortable. I'm thinking they will stretch a little with wear.

I have been wearing ASICS for years now. Great running shoe. I picked these particular shoes due to the color of them. I usually buy the Gt 2007 and I still prefer that one over this purchase. I don't think they have the support that the GT 2007.

These are nice sneakers I gave it four stars because I still have to wear my arch supports from foot doctor. I thought the arches in the sneakers would be high enough for my feet but they're not, I still have to wear my arch supports and I still get a little bit of pain in my ring finger toes because I've walked on concrete for so long the bones in my feet have fallen, I have pinched nerves in my ring finger toe on both feet.

I love the colors. But I ordered a wide and unfortunately they are too narrow across the top of my foot no matter how much I loosen the laces.

Comfortable fit, great support for runners. I don't have issues with joint pain when I run, fortunately. However, if I do not have proper running shoes, my legs and muscles will tighten up. These have been very comfortable so far. I average 3-4 miles per day in them. In week 2 and very satisfied. 4 stars only because I haven't had them long enough to comment on how long they'll prove effective.

Super cushy but I wish the color was less grandma-like. I feel like they are supportive but not minimal if that's what you're looking for. Breathable but you have to break in before they really mold to your foot. I'm still working on breaking mine in.

My first purchase of Asics shoes was the GT-1000, four years ago. I still use them and have another pair of GT-1000's. When I saw this pair, I feel in love with the colors! I didn't *need* another pair of shoes but love the colors so much that I *had* to have them and purchased. I knew from my experience with my pairs of GT-1000's that this pair of GT-2000 8 would be a good match for me. I have known that the toe boxes of Asics shoes have a narrower fit, I usually order one half size up (ex: size 8 to 8.5). This pair fits perfect and I can have great support, just as my other Asics do. I do a LOT of walking and toss in some running now and then, so a shoe that is sturdy/offers support is important to me. The ONLY downside is that they don't seem have as much cushion inside as some of my older pairs of Asics do (I also have a few pairs of the Gel-Kanyos). That isn't an issue with just this pair I'm reviewing (GT-2000 8), I've noticed that with the past 3 pairs of Asics I've purchased (2 pairs of Gel-Kanyos and my newest pair of GT-1000). I am very happy with my GT-2000 8's. I'm also noticing some nice new colors in other pairs as well, so thank you Asics!

Love ASICS, my 25 year exclusive running and everyday shoe, Kayano and GT2000. Just one thing about the video, spokeperson is mispronouncing Edo. Should be short e sound as in elephant, not long e as in eagle. Just a thought if you truly want to respect Edo/Tokyo.

These are the only shoe that ASICS had in my size. They are good, but not as comfortable as the ASICS gel models. Why do you not offer narrow sizes anymore?

I really love this shoe so far but I think they need to make them a little wider in the toe box. I know with any shoe there is a breaking in period but they pinch me in the toe area and I have blisters from them rubbing the sides of my big toe and littlest toe. I have always loved my ASICS and will continue to them but there needs to be more options in wide.

I have worn this series shoe since around 2005. I have gone through many changes that were not so good. Because I need a narrow shoe, I am very limited. (yes, I have tried others). This current version is a great fit for width and gives added stability. It feels like it is lighter weight than previous models. A tad more cushioning would make it perfect! My only other wish is that it would come in another color option. The narrow width only has one color choice and I'd like something more colorful than black.

I love these running shoes their the best! But I feel like the design is a little lower quality. He design on the sides used to be raised/gel but on this pair it's just a decal.
