Perfect support and cushioning for distance running. These definitely compliment my other 2 pairs of ASICS

Walked and jogged 5K 3 times and they feel great! I alternate with another pair of Asics that have gel only in the heel and costs about half the price! I only jog one to 3 times a week. I know the GT-2000 8 have the new and improved impact soles, but I am not sure if the slight difference outweighs the extra costs! Asics is the running shoe of choice for me and will be-keep up the good work with your excellent product! Jack Tischinger

So far the most comfortable for running. I have planters fasciitis and I need support.

Ran a lot in Asics in high school and loved them. The college I went to provided Nike running shoes for us and as I used the Nike shoes I developed many stress fractures (5) and plantar fasciitis in my right foot to the point I needed surgery. I remembered my shoes from high school were GT-2000s so I had to pick up a pair! I just ordered my second pair of GT-2000 (8) after putting over 400 miles on last pair. My feet are happy and I cant recommend these shoes enough.

I had some pretty flat feet and these shoes helped alot with my overpronation!

I ran fastest 5k in these shoes, the support is amazing and very soft but at the same time it has that bounce. It's not the fastest shoe but its expected to prove stability and a good push from the bounce. I am very happy with these shoes.

I switched from Nike to the GT-2000 series three years ago due to a plantar fasciitis problem. This series helped me heal right away. I just picked up a new pair of GT-2000 8's and went for my first run today. They are really amazing and my best pair yet! Great fit and feel.

GT-2000 have been one of my go to shoes for some years now! And boi, this edition is not only looking slick, it feels that way as well! Good job!

It's nothing special; it's just a great shoe for building or maintaining fitness discomfort-free. It's not a fast shoe but one that is very comfortable overall, stable with a pleasnt ride. Worth the price if your dedicated to fitness. Cheaper than medication! On the downside, it is little narrow. It's not springy and the upper was warm to me. Regardless it's a great shoe.

Nice upgrade from the v6. Really comfortable, good stability and very light.

The shoe provides good support for walking. It is stylish and comfortable. It is a good fit width wise as well as in length.

Great heel support and very breathable. Very grippy sole too.
