Great support on the arch. Always use GT ASICS for running.

This shoe is awesome. Compared to Adidas and Under Armour shoes I've worn, and even other great ASICS shoes like the Gel Cumulus line or Dynaflytes, this is my favorite. Sturdy, structured shoe, know it's going to last forever and is capable of doing whatever activity you want - running, walking around, hiking, gym, or even golf or tennis - unbelievably comfortable and fits feet really well. Plus, their still fairly light. Feel lighter than the Gel Cumulus but obviously heavier than the Dynaflytes. Don't run a ton, but I'll run 13 mi once a week, and I can't believe how much better my feet and legs feel compared to my old shoes when running in these.

These are some of the best shoes asics has made in a long time. I have been running in asics for over 20 years switching between the 1000 and 2000 series. The last 3 to 4 years both series have felt more gimmick heavy. They were flat with not as much support. The 2000 8 remind me of the way asics used to feel! A true upgrade! Very stable under foot with good arch support and a comfortable upper! One of the best running shoes I have worn in a long time!

I've had several pairs of the GT 2000-4s, a few of the -7s (stayed away from the -5s and 6s) and these -8s are back on track. I only have 20ish trail miles on them but they are comfortable enough right out of the box to hit the trail.

Have been running in the GT-2000 series for years for my road runs. Rotate them with regular Gel Kayano. Very comfortable and stable shoe for me. I overpronate a little and they provide good support. I do add a basic orthotic insert that helps with stride stability. Great overall shoe.

Very comfortable. I think a little better than the Nimbus or Kayano.

By far the most comfortable shoes out of the box. I have neuropathy in both feet and have no issues wearing them 9 hours a day at work.

The shoe is very light and has woven fabrics to not have those spots that rub you raw and they have a very soft absorption of impact

My husband said the fit is perfect, with great support and heel cushion. The Mako blue/black is so good looking!

Comfortable sneaker that feels great from the first run. I never even feel like I have to break them in, they are just smooth and comfortable from the start.

I've been wearing the GT-2000's because of my slight overpronation for years for running marathons. These shoes are the best. The size of the toe box, the comfort and stability are perfect for the number of miles I put in for running multiple marathons a year.

I purchased these shoes based on advice I received from the Asics team. These shoes were supposed to help me with my overpronation. After using them for 2 weeks now (approximately 25km of running), my knee pain has reduced (caused by overpronating while running) and I'm getting back to my full form. I haven't done anything else different (like exercising or seeing a physio) so I credit these shoes. Highly recommended for those who overpronate.

Very comfortable. Good for road running and much less soreness in the feet. Best running shoes I've had.
