Lace-up nirvana for your feet! Easily run an extra 21-28 miles per week on these. Got 4 phone numbers during a single run last week just for the awesome shoe style (BTW... the accents are a mind-bending copper color, not orange as the photo might suggest). Pretty sure I'm going to wear these to defend my Doctoral dissertation purely so I can run right after I knock that bad-boy outta the park... that's how great these feel!

These are the best in the GT series for a long time. Fits me much better than the gt 2007 which was too snug. More toe box room which is a plus. Over all feel is very smooth on transition, not stiff and flat like the 2007. Have been running for 50 plus years and know what works for me as a low arch mild pronater. Sizing is consistent with half size up from street shoes.

Walking is a hell of a lot better than a wheelchair. In these shoes I can walk better since I had a stroke in 2013. I need to start buying a new pair every 6mo.

I always wear a 10 W. These I ordered in a 10 W and had to return them. I then ordered a 10.5 4E -wide and they were STILL the width of a rabbit's foot. I admit, my feet are like Fred Flintstone for a woman, but these shoes are too small. It's a shame

Fit was fine. Unfortunately it seems that Asics is changing their shoes. I have been running in Asics for 20+ years. My shoe before these was the GT-2000 7. Now the GT-2000 8 feels like it has no cushioning. I am shopping for an alternative to Asics and then plan to return these. It kills me to leave the Asics franchise but I can no longer find Asics that fit or feel good. Used to run in Nimbus until they made those so narrow.

The fit seemed ok but I thought the shoe was a cheap imitation of the ASIC shoes I have worn for 30 years.

Great fitting, standard running shoe. I typically wear a 11.5 casual/dress shoe and 12 or 12.5 running shoe. Size 12 in the GT-2000 worked out best in this one and is the case w/most Asics. No heel slip and ample room in the toebox. Plenty of medial stability without feeling like it's getting in the way. Stability shoes typically make my knees hurt, but this ride has remained soft, yet still does it's job. I needed some guidance to rotate in while recovering from an Achilles injury. Very happy with this purchase.

First pair of Asics I have bought in a few years. Now that they carry bigger sizes (17) I decided to try them again as I loved their jell soles in past. Moved from Medium width to wide for a little more box area. Have not worn a lot yet but extremely comfortable and great walking shoes. Will buy another pair once they get more into stock. Very pleased.

My boy loved the color when he first saw it in the photo and when they arrived, he tried them on along with another pair. This was the clear winner because the few min. after he tried on, he was ready to walk them outside of the house. So, this one was a true keeper.

I have wide feet so it's hard to find a proper fit as no one stocks widths. The first pair 2E were a little tight so I returned them and reordered the 4e which fit great. Being able to return a pair of shoes without charge is a great service and Zappos makes this quick and easy. Got the new pair in a couple of days and the refund shortly thereafter. Couldn't be more pleased

These shoes look good but I don’t find them comfortable. Very little cushion and they feel snug. Will go back to New Balance or try another model next time.

Wanted to cancel this order as soon as I realized I ordered the wrong size. Couldn't get a live person to talk to or a response back.

Way too narrow. I’ve worn men’s size 12 4E ASICS for over a decade and even bought previous years gt2000 in 4E but these are nowhere near a 4E despite the label these pinch my feet worse than standard width shoes.
I'd also recommend:
Other ASICS maybe New Balance

This is my 4th pair from the time I started running on long distances and Asics never disappoints me. First time to get the GT 2000 series - mine is GT 2000 8 Retro Tokyo and I just love its performance especially on the mesh where I can feel my feet can breath and can move my toes.

This is my 3rd pair of the 8's, and they have all worked well for me. I get 700 miles out of them before the heal carbon rubber starts to fail, the uppers stay in great condition to the end, and there is only mild breakdown of the impact absorption. I start a new pair of shoes when the previous purchase gets to 350 miles, and alternate shoes. I also have had 2 pairs of the 9's and am currently also running in a pair of the 10's. The uppers of the 9's were much less durable than the 8's due to a toe box design change (boo), and the soles of the 9's were angled differently to the 8's and only went 625 miles. The uppers on the 10's were improved and might be as good as the 8's, but the soles seem to be wearing fast like the 9's. I do notice that the 8's are a bit more noisy to run in than the 10's, but I was glad to be able to get another pair of 8's. I've run in this line of shoes from the GT2010s, GT2020s, on up to the GT-2000 10, always in the widest version. I have a short, broad, and high foot, and these are a great fit for me. I've tried other brands and styles now and then but have quickly reverted. I hope ASICS can sort out the wear issues on their latest shoes. One of my complaints about the 4E models is the very limited color options. The 8's had a great blue color, but typically the choice is grey and black. Boo.

I swear by GT-2000's for my training. I run 35 miles a week and have had no serious injuries in many years.

Been wearing ASICS for years - they are the only brand that fits my wide feet comfortably and gives enough support.

Great shoes. Very comfortable and light. I have tried at least 4 different models of Asics in the past 4 years and this one is by far the most comfortable for me and the correct width. As a 240lb runner in the military, I can even say the comfort and support is there for me as well which is greatly appreciated.
