These boots are really cute, but apparently everyone else who left a review has REALLY skinny legs. My legs are pretty average--I own several pairs of boots in other brands and they all fit just fine. I have never had any trouble with boots not fitting over my calves, and I have never had to buy any in "wide calf" sizes. But these were so skinny, I couldn't even get them zipped. If you have even slightly larger than average calves, don't bother.

Too narrow around the calf

For the boots..The leather looks cheap, definitely not worth the price. For Zappos..if you send out an item that was previously returned, check it over before you send it out, these should not have been resold. First..they were clearly worn..second they were carelessly repackaged and shipped back to you.., no boot form, no shoe form and one of the boots was bent in half, leaving a crease in the leather. Very bad quality control Zappos!

I wanted to love these boots, however they were too high up my calf, hitting right at my knee in a really uncomfortable way.

Boot fit in overall length and width but the shaft was so long it hit me over my knee cap. I’ve never had riding boots so long. Sent them back. I couldn’t bend my knee they were so tall!
