Love, love, love. I need a wide calf so was worried they would look awkward and not fit, but fit is perfect. Usually, I have a hard time with Franco Sarto styles I like running too narrow in foot, even though I have normal width feet, but these have a great feel. Thinking about ordering in another color!

These are so super cute!!! I'm so excited to finally find boots to fit my large calves comfortably without sacrificing style. The boots are so soft they just fold over naturally. The boots tips are a bit narrow but that's pretty typical of franco sarto. I bought a size 10 after trying on about 6 different pairs and these were the ones!! II'm about 5'4 so you can see they go right to my knee. I honestly plan on folding them down for when I set down. Love these sooo much!! Very comfortable!!

The inside heel of this boot pinched quite a bit, and would have rubbed a blister had I kept them. I returned them and kept another pair that I felt were more comfortable. I am 5'2" and these went right up to my knee. I think they would have been comfortable walking around and not rub the back of my knee. I am a "slightly wide" calf... where regular boots fit, but are hard to zip up over jeans, and I though this would give me an option, but they were MUCH to wide in the calf. Double check your measurements! The leather was nice, and the style was attractive.

Beautiful boots! Finally found a stylish classic boot that allows me to fit over my pants. Wore 10 hours the first day out of the box. Very comfortable and received tons of compliments.

I am a true 6.5 and have a football players calves - wide! I have never been able to fit into a pair of boots that zip up the side, let alone with jeans - but these are perfect! Easy zip, comfy fit and will be ordering additional colors! Highly recommend!

Really large calves will love this boot. Too large for me tho ? Returning.

I am in heaven! These are beautiful boots. At first I was a bit apprehensive about buying these b/c the shaft circumference is stated to be 16" and my calves are 16 1/2". Another reviewer had stated they were actually wider so I took the chance and VERY happy I did! They fit perfectly. The foot bed is true to size. The other plus is that the shaft goes up to the knee giving a slimming illusion.

I really like these boots but the wide was too wide. I have had both ankle replacements done in the last 3 years so finding comfortable shoes is difficult but important. These boots fit my feet and ankle very well. I have to be very careful about thin heels that make me feel unstable and these were great in that aspect as well. My calf area is not as wide as before so I am going to go with regular shaft instead of wide. I have several others in my cart that I was looking at instead. I like shopping with Zappos for their fantastic shipping and return policy but they did not have these boots in non-wide. I went to multiple sites looking for the same boot in regular shaft in the brown. Must be an older style because not even the Franco Sarto site has them listed. Found a pair on Amazon. Only pair they had. Crossing my fingers they will be perfect. If not I will be back here for other styles to try. Thank you Zappos for being easy to work with.

Felt too narrow. Length was fine. Was really too wide at the top kinda look like pirate boots. The leather seemed quality. Wish they would have fit better, I would have kept them.

These are nice boots, but the listed shaft circumference is off by a lot. I got a size 8 and they looked so large on my 16 inch calves when I tried them on with jeans that they looked like fisherman boots. I have to return them. I'm disappointed, because I've been having a lot of trouble finding boots that are not too big or too small this year.

Love these boots! I was looking for a taller boot. I am 5’7” and these come to just under my knee. I have worn them out all day in the city and they are very comfortable.

I typically do not buy wide calf boots, but I wanted a little bit more room during my pregnancy. I have to say these boots are very comfortable! I would not hesitate to wear these all the time!

They wide calf was just to much, I was swimming in them. I returned them.

I really loved this boot! Leather is super soft and style is classic. It is slightly higher than some other boots but @ 5'5" it hit just at the bottom of my kneecap. My issue with this boot was the calf width representation on Zappos. States it is 16" which should have fit perfectly on my 15" calf. However, the actual width of the boots I received was 18-¼" which was too large for me. Unfortunately, I had to return them and at the time I did the regular width boot was already sold out in my color/ size. Very bummed.

These boots are just too wide at the top - they fit great around the calf, but the shaft is longer and the boots ended up looking really weird and wide when they hit my knee. I have longer legs (32 inch inseam) and I expected these to hit around the top of my calf.

what an oversized boot! I am 5 ' and the boot came well above my knee and was wide (perhaps I did not realize that when I ordered?) but the boot flapped all over the place when I attempted to walk around my living room. Sadly, I had to return them.

Cannot comment on comfort - when I saw the width of the calf I put them right back in the box!

These boots are beautiful. I loved the color of the leather and the style, until I put them on... They are true to length, but the width is tight at the toes while extra wide at the heel (there is no drop-down choice for "neither" when reviewing "felt true to width"). My toes were squeezed and my heel was slipping around. There is no arch support at all - leaving me incredibly uncomfortable. The wide calf upper is nice, but the material (leather) is so soft, the boots slumped down to mid-calf. Unfortunately, I am returning them.
