For the most part I love Sketchers. They feel great and are affordable. These work boots though fit very odd. They are way to roomy. Feels like my feet are in a box. Bad design.

This is the worst work shoe I have ever owned. I bought them about 4 months ago and just had to replace them. I have contacted customer service but haven't received any help. I won't buy sketchers!

I own some Sketchers 8.5 wide and I ordered another pair, this one. The new pair which says 8.5 wide is 1 inch longer and 1/2 inch wider than me other pair. I think that they are really a 9.0. I sent them back for exchange to 8.5 medium, but have not heard back from you. No one has acknowledged getting the return or confirmed a new shipment of a different size.

It took several weeks to get the shoes. The advertised 5-7 business days was bunk. I wanted the shoes for a big hiking trip. I didn't get them in time. I emailed skechers multiple times and never got a single response. I'm not buying skechers anymore. There are a lot of good shoe options. I don't need to deal with horrendous customer service.

for work if they fit true to size

This is my 4th pair of work boots and all are the same size and width but these are to narrow up front. Guess I wont be shopping online ever again.

Purchased specifically to work in. Lasted less than 3 months. Were very comfortable, but simply started coming apart.

Will not buy these work boots again

I wear a wide shoe . Called local Skecher store to ask if they carry wide sizes so I could try on shoes . I was told No they do not carry wide sizes at any of their stores . That I would have to order online . So I did and of course they were still tight . Now I have to return shoes and order yet again online . Very frustrating not being able to try on shoes before I buy . I'm SURE I'm not the only person needing wide shoes !

I use them for work, I need composite or steel toed shoes for work. This is the third time I have tried to get Sketchers for work, also the third time they have not fit. The width is way to narrow. They have a W that is not wide enough but tell you that they are extra wide. I just ordered som Red Wing Irish Setters that are EE, they fit perfect and are the width the maker recommends for my foot and shoe size. I like most of the running and casual sketchers, most of the time I can shop around and find a pair that will fit. However if I can't work in their shoes why should I buy my other styles there. I will not buy sketchers again. By the way, they need to do better on store help in their store on Stacy road in Allen TX. This is where I go most of the time and the last two times I have been there they had people that were lazy, on their Iphones all they time and didn't know as much about shoes as I do. Not good business.
