Runs small by 1/2 a size or more. I was hoping for a 16” calf like in the description, but the size 6.5 is probably only a 14” circumference. Disappointing. Super cute boot, and I love that it’s leather. But it’ll have to go back since I can’t zip them up. (And I’d need to order a size 7 to fit my typical 6.5 foot, or even a 7.5 if I wanted to put in a gel pad for cushion.) Really wish they made these in a wide calf!!

Received these boots for Christmas. I wear an 8-8.5, so I ordered an 8.5. My toes hit the end of the boot, so I had to return them. The shaft size was also smaller than stated. They are beautiful leather, but definitely run small. I am going to reorder a 9.5.

These definitely run small. Size up 1/2 to 1 size. The calf is wide for jeans to tuck comfortably in. Lining is nice. Leather is this thick. Cute casual boot! Glad I got them!

I love the look of these boots and am really regretting I forgot to read the reviews before ordering! They are TOO SMALL even though I ordered my size. Should have gone up a half size. I'm returning for a larger size. Next time I'll read the reviews!

I have very narrow feet and these fit perfectly that way. However, they are too short by a half-size. Will exchange for next size up.

I really wanted to be able to wear these but alas they were too small and I couldn't get them zipped up. I have wide calves and they are advertised as fitting 16" circumference which should have fit. Either I mis-measured my calf or they are about 1/2" smaller than advertised. I'm normally wear a 7.5" (sometimes 8") and in this case, I should've gone larger vs. smaller (I ordered 7.5" and could barely get my foot in the boot). Either way, I had to send them back. Since I never got to wear them, I don't know about comfort but they are really cute. I will say that Zappos' return process is great!

These boots have very narrow calves - definitely couldn’t zip them up. Didn’t love the style or color which is unusual because I normally love Roan products.
