I gave comfort a 4 because the padding on the sole lacked a bit. I have a pair of kitten heels and slip-ons from Via Spiga which are very comfy. These are not uncomfortable by any means just expected a a tad more padding. With that said, the Aylee shoe is comfortable enough where I would never discourage anyone from buying.

These are very nice shoes -Via quality - comfortable and I believe they will look lovely with casual or dressy - year round!

The suede on these shoes is lovely. I am on the hunt for a nice loafer in a neutral color and these fit the bill with regard to color and style. Unlike other loafer styles this pair have a firm heel with similar soft suede on it. I prefer to not have a collapsing heel so that is great, but in order to keep the shoe structured around the rest of the foot they added a leather material from the toe to the start of the heel area. The stitching between the suede material and leather material rubs a bit on the inner arch of my left foot. It is not ruff to the touch so my foot might get used to it. I just wish they could have structured it a bit better or used the same suede material they used on the heel- it is lovely.
