In person this shoe looks like the boot of the jolly green giant!!! The fit was way too big and the shoe felt awkward as the heel placement seemed off. Sadly back they go......a recurring quality assurance problem for me in selecting Sam Edelman shoes is that the wide width is not consistently cut, some shoes it appears only slightly larger than the B width, in others the difference is quite huge making it impossible to buy their shoes with any confidence.

I agree with some of the other reviews: the fit is just…odd. The inside side of the bootie being higher than the outside side is part of the oddness. It's like they are lopsided. That and the heel placement a bit too close to the arch, at least for me, made me very unstable. Well made and nice colors, but going back.

I ordered quite a few different styles of black booties to try this year. I initially got these in a 1/2 size up (as I usually do with boots). This was way to big! My heel/and foot were slipping around, and they looked enormous. I re-ordered a size down, and that was perfect. I really debated between this and another bootie, but I loved the style of this one! The lower heel makes them extremely comfortable too.

Beautiful, modern, cool boot. Good quality leather and reasonably comfortable. I ordered my usual 9.5 but had to return it for a 9 because it was too big, especially in the heel/ankle.

Wore this boot for the first time this fall. Dreaded leaving my flip flops. Not a flip flop but very comfortable for a boot!!!!

Comfortable and Stylish

These booties are sexy and comfortable. The scalloped edge lets your ankle bone peek out and doesn't rub. The zippers are smooth and the shoes are overall well made. Two thumbs up!

I’m so obsessed with these booties and can’t wait to wear them! I love how chic they are, but with a low heel so I can be comfortable. I originally ordered an 8.5 wide but sized down to the 8 wide.

I accidentally ordered these in wide width and I have a more narrow foot but without that, these didn't feel like they had the arch support I need and were not as pointy-toed as I was looking for.

Love Sam Edelman shoes, great material. I have other boots by him but just not feeling the point toes. Really hate to send back. Beautifully made, great material..

Really comfy for a heeled boot. I usually wear a 6.5 in flats and 7 in running shoes and don't usually wear heels, but I had a fancy event, and these were perfect! I have bursitis and a neuroma in my left foot, and these still gave me plenty of comfort room in the toe box area. Also, they look super stylish!

I bought a similar style bootie from Sam Edelman last year and these have the same fit. I bought the white and I love them.

Good fit and versatile! Heel looks nice but still a comfy walking height. Great with jeans, dressier pants, and skirts. Really does seem to go with everything....a plus for carryon business travel.

Absolutely love these Sam Edelman booties! The Kadison style is stylish and comfortable. With its pointed toe and higher kitten heel they are my new 'go to' shoe with dresses and with jeans. Liked them SO much I bought them in black leather and black suede. Zappos provides great customer service and delivery in two days or less. Don't wait buy them now - they also just went on sale and Zappos honored all price adjustments. Thank you for great style and service!

I really love these booties. They fit perfect and feel good on my feet. I received my order the next day and I was surprised at how fast they arrived. As soon as I put my feet in them I knew they were a keeper not to mention the price. Great Buy...

Lovely shoe with the dip detail on the side. Not sure of the comfort considering the bootie seems quite "hard" and unforgiving just with a try on. I am returning due to the color, which is also lovely, but limiting as the shades are all very warm/brown with no variation to a darker/black which would allow for more coordination.

Just didn't like the point toe, made my feet look way too long for me.
