Pretty cute but for some reason not as comfortable as other Merrell shoes.

I bought these for walking unpaved but maintained trails (some scree and uneven areas) and travel walking in fair weather or light rain; not extreme conditions but I want good stability and comfort. I'd give these 4.5 stars across the board if I could. My feet are slightly wide (C vs B) at the toes with high arches and instep. An 8.5W is my perfect fit, but the selection in wide shoes is terrible. Because my feet are only slightly wide, sizing up a half size is standard width is often enough. These in a standard 9 fit very well, and I think will be very comfortable for "trail to town" and travel walking. They accommodated a normal (not thick) pair of socks with a little snugness across the toe box. The color combo (lichen and pink) is attractive and they are a little boxy but not too clunky looking for town.

I bought these for our upcoming trip to Iceland. I have yet to wear them outside but I have high hopes considering how good they feel in the house!

I really wanted to like these but there were two things that made me go with a different pair: 1) the arch support felt like it came back too far toward the heel, and 2) the half-moon cut on the sides were too close to my ankle bone. I was afraid the shoes were going to rub my feet while hiking and be uncomfortable.

My son has taken up trail running, so I bought these shoes for trail walking. They have excellent arch support, and good grip over a variety of terrain. They slip in the heels and seem wide overall, but I’m still happy with them.

Beautiful shoes, but the soles are too hard and the heel is a little higher than I am accustomed.

These shoes felt big on my foot unlike the other Merrells I have and have had in the past. Have to send back as I like a shoe that hugs my foot.

This hiker is gorgeous and well made on the exterior. The sole is grippy and flexible. I really wanted to like this shoe but walked around the block and my feet were in pain! There is hardly any cushion and definitely no arch support. I could feel a little bounce in the heel. I would have worn these for day hikes and casually. Can't suffer for fashion here.

Though I usually take a size 8.5 I ordered the size 9 and that was ok. Problem was that there was uncomfortable rubbing at the side of my ankle, so these did not work for me.

Bought them to use during our rainy and often snowy winters because they are supposed to have superior gripping ability. Should have gotten a larger size to accommodate thick socks. Not particularly comfortable, not much cushioning. I sure they're well made; just not for me.

I usually wear Brooks running shoes or Vasque hiking boots for walking. I decided to try Merrell Crosslander 2 when I couldn't find the Brooks or Vasque style I wanted. Good looking shoe, very comfortable. No arch support and although the shoes aren't flimsy, they feel flimsy when wearing. It felt like I was walking barefoot, which led to foot pain.

No support at all, felt like wearing paper bags.

Smaller than traditional Merrell fit, very uncomfortable

Well if they ever get shipped I will let you know. Seems like they are forgotten or being made somewhere. I understand covid issues, but two replies from Zappos say oh they will be there but still says processing
