Really cool looking shoe, I order a 9 (EU 40) when my true shoe size is 9.5 (because when I looked online it said a European 40 was a US 9.5, not a US 9, and Zappos size calculator also said I should order a 9). It did feel a half size smaller, though, so I would say go off the US size (I still wouldn't have sized up to a 10 though). Although, it may have felt smaller because the toe box is super narrow, so be aware of that. If you have wide feet, it probably will be uncomfortable even if you size up. Know that the shoe is very stiff. You have to wear socks with these, it would definitely be uncomfortable without because it would probably hurt after rubbing against your leg for awhile. Beautiful shoe, however.

Shoes are stylish and comfy just as I had expected them to be. However, I received a “returned” pair and I’m pretty unhappy about that. I can tell the shoes were returned because the box is in slightly used condition leading me to believe that someone purchased these, kept for awhile, wasn’t careful with the packaging, and decided to they didn’t want them and sent them back. I’ve been a customer of Zappos for years, even recommending family members to purchase shoes from this site. If I wanted a “hand me down” item, I would have shopped at the thrift store etc...! I’m paying for merchandise that’s brand new, not tried on and used! Not ok. Makes me think twice about ordering in the future...
