It is really cute and fluffy! The black is a deep black that is a little shiny. I usually wear an XL but I got an XXL because I read this runs small. It definitely DOES run about one size small. The coat is really good quality, the zippers are smooth, lots of places to hold items and the main pockets are deep. Pockets are fleece lined and there is a fleece flap in the sleeves with a thumb hole to keep hands warm. It’s easy to fold this piece up and out of the way of you don’t need it. This jacket is nice and warm, for the price I would definitely recommend this for Seattle-like weather. It’s a great alternative to the regular more expensive SAM coats. On a side note, the logo is still the same. I have “S” on zippers and buttons not “S13” so I think they’re using the same hardware. My only negative about this item is that the collar is a tad large. It’s “oversized” and can sometimes get in the way of you wear this coat unzipped. When zipped, it does keep your neck and face ultra warm. This item is DRY CLEAN ONLY!

The fit was very nice and comfortable. The material had flexibility, so you don't feel constricted with physical movement. Also, the material makes for easy wipe-off (if needed). The color is also vibrant and beautiful. Overall, the fit, style, comfort, and look was fashionable and satisfying. I would purchase again in a different color.

Great fit

So, this jacket is fantastic, except exactly one thing. The fit is great, the color is shiny and cool, and its super warm and comfortable. But as a prior person wrote, the piece around the neck is... Way, way too big. Like, its stuffed full, plus being an extra inch or two too tall. So while I don't even mind the way it looks, when you zip it up, its like stretching out your neck. Its weird! Sorry, had to return.
