Good shoe with good cushioning. Grip on bottom takes away some of cushioning. Would be much better with padded tongue as this would improve fit and comfort. Also I think the old style go runs with soft plain white sole, without black grip bits, is actually better. Go run 400 are more bouncy which is better.

Overall, the shoe is decent. The extra cushioned ride feels nice, however, the shoes are too narrow and squeeze the sides of your feet until you are in pain. I thought hey might need break in and after wearing them for a couple of weeks, there seems to still be no give in the sides. I have been buying Skechers for the past almost 10 years, so I am pretty versed in the size and fit I need and each shoe has been consistent, until this one. If you have slightly wider feet but not wide enough for the extra-wide, maybe try a half sized bigger? Unfortunately, the shoes cannot be returned, since Skechers will not allow you to use the shoes for what they were designed to do to discover the above issue, which normally takes a week or two and then return them. I leave it to you to decide.

I have put just about 4000 miles on a handful of pairs of the GOrun Ultra Road 2 and the Max Road 3 over the last 2 years. I was expecting this to be the follow up especially considering the tall stack height and cushion type. To my dismay, this shoe is extremely firm, overly voluminous in the midsole and unfortunately clunky. The two shoes I previously mentioned have become hands down my favorite trainers I've ever worn. The one perk of this shoe is a snug, comfortable upper but even the upper has its downfalls and after two weeks he started giving me corns on my pinky toes due to being too narrow. Saddened about the devolution of this shoe. I once saw Skechers as my escape from the Hoka trap, but I suppose now it's time to try the Topo Phantom or Clifton 6.

Sent the shoes back as they are narrow. Will only wear sketchers sneekers. Love the style cannot wait to get the replacement.
