The Carhartt Legacy work belt is a good belt for those who want the durability of a nylon belt but the eyelet closure of a traditional belt. If it was offered in black I'd buy that as well.

This belt is intended to carry tools - it isn't the standard width to fit in belt loops of normal pants. Only buy this belt if you plan to use it as a tool belt.

I’m a woman and I needed a good work belt to hold my gardening pouch. This belt was categorized as a woman’s belt when I did a search on Zappos. This is belt is definitely made for men. The belt is too wide to fit in the belt loops on my (Carhartt Women’s jeans). However the quality is good and worth the price. I’ll just give the belt to my dad or brother.
