I too was very excited to see these offered exclusively by Zappos. The color is amazing! I am a long-time Birkenstock wearer and have had many pairs over the years. These are unlike the traditional Birks for a few reasons. The footbed is not the usual suede; it's a non-porous, slippery surface. The straps are extremely soft, but they are very loose-fitting. I had to put mine on the very last hole (not usually the case) and even at that they are bound to stretch some with wear and be too big. The ends of the straps also flop around when set on the tightest fit hole. I am overall disappointed in these. While they look awesome (came in a really cool box too!), they are not the same fit or feel as regular Birks - and at almost double the price, not worth it.

The fit was a little odd. First time trying Birkenstock, but there was a lip around the toe area and even though they fit with a bit of room, my toe rubbed against that. It was better when I tightened the straps to the tightest setting, but then the straps hung over looking off. I didn’t like the white plastic foot bed, it made a sucking and slap sound on every step. The color is beautiful, but I sent them back. I may try another style with a suede footbed.

I always wear a 38 Narrow, these are not even close to being the correct size! The 38 Narrow was more like a 39 Wide!!

My daughter and I both love the look of these Birkenstocks and considered ordering 2 pair (1 for each of us) but decided to share instead. While she loves everything about these, I am not entirely impressed. The footbed is made out of something that is very slippery, unlike anything I have seen before with Birkenstocks, and my feet slide forward right out of them. I ordered my regular size (37) and I have the straps tightened all the way and they still feel too big, and I imagine they will strength. They also feel wide, when they are actually narrow. All in all, they are not a good fit for me, but my daughter loves them so we will be keeping them

Totally dissatisfied with foot bed.....did not look nor feel like a Birkenstock. Very uncomfortable. Sending back asap.

After reading reviews, I thought maybe... just MAYBE the narrows would be okay. Wrong. The top part of the shoe fits wide, I’ll agree with that. The straps are soft & fit my size 40 foot just fine, but the footbed is definitely a narrow footbed! I so wish Birkenstock would stop only making their cute options in a narrow! I’ve been wearing Birks for over 25years & would LOVE to have other options than the basics! Just wanted to let my other regular/ wide footbed people know, these won’t work! Sad, because the color is BEAUTIFUL!

They don’t make my usual size in this style so I went a size larger. Normally, I wear a 4.5 to 5 so this was slightly long on my foot and I had to put extra holes in the straps because they weren’t narrow enough. But they feel good on my feet and the color is beautiful!

I went with other review to size down and wrong!! I wear 39 in birks, I am 8.5. Bought 38 and they are to short and narrow. Now my size sold out, should've buy both sized! Really hope someone will return 39.

Love the color!!!!! Runs a little large, I normally wear a size 8.5, but the size 38 fit perfectly. Would highly recommend.

I ordered these the day they came up for sale since I love the color and I was very concerned they would not be wide enough as I normally wear normal or wide shoes. These are super comfy out of the box, (the straps are so soft)and I haven’t worn Arizona’s for years. I have a high instep and the strap has plenty or room to accommodate.

Birkenstock has changed their foot bed. I know this because I have too many pairs of Birks to count over a period of 30 years. The foot bed is now a bit slippery and feels different, just as the straps have gotten way wider- I now have to take my usual size and fasten them the tightest notch possible and they are still too big. This is definitely true for the Mayari style- while they still fit my foot on the bed, the straps are loose and cause my foot to slip around. The color is glorious green and the suede uppers are supper comfortable - much more comfortable than the leather uppers of late. Not sure what is happening at Birkenstock but read the reviews when you purchase a pair so you can make sure you are getting the size you need. I do not have a narrow foot, but a standard size women's 10/41. I am finding the only truly comfortable Birks these days are the soft foot bed with the suede uppers.
