I was on the market for a new shoe after Brooks discontinued their Pureflow line (RIP!!). I was really nervous about choosing a new shoe because I'd been on the same model for seven years, but I didn't find anything from Brooks as a replacement (and could not seem to find any literature telling me what shoe I should switch too!) I was encouraged to give the WaveKnit 3s a try, and boy I'm glad I did. They seem to have more support than the Pureflows, which I was nervous about since I'm very pro neutral shoe, but I quickly got used to it and feel very strong running in it. I also like that the bottoms are a little more filled in, so I don't get rocks stuck in it. Have so far taken it for short to medium-long runs, and I'm really enjoying it! I'm looking forward to taking this pair through a training cycle leading up to a marathon -- all signs are that this shoe is up to the task.

I switched to mizuno running shoes three years ago and fell in love with them. They comfortable with a good cushion putting a little more spring into your stride!!!

This waveknit version of the waverider is absolutely amazing. The upper is very comfortable especially if you have problem with your toes being crushed. The knit allows free movements for the toes and allows for a pleasant run. The shock absorber on this is fantastic as well. I haven't experienced anything like it. I came from the asics shoes and I feel like these beat them easily and they come at a lower pricepoint.

These are very good shoes. The shoe seems slightly wider in the forefoot than version 2, and for me at least, version 2 fits slightly better. But still very happy.

I run a few times a week and compete in half marathons and triathalons a few times a year. On average a run 3-6 miles on any given run. This shoe is comfortable and supportive. However, i notice around the 2 mile mark on every run the pad of my foot where I strike the ground, heats up and rubs. Ive never had this issue with running shoes before and wonder if the material they used is causing friction. The toe bed is a little wide for my liking but the rest of the design is great. Runs true to size as well. Will continue to use for cross training and short runs, but I dont see how I could be comfortable relying on these for more than 3 miles.

heel cup area inside the shoe is worn down after less than 50 miles. shoe outsoles show no wear either. the plastic heel cup digs into your heel. would not recommend and customer service is just as bad. sent all pictures just as asked, and they request you print out a copy of receipt as well (clearly not the most eco friendly company out there). you'll pay your own shipping to them rather than them take care of it. first pair of mizunos and i will not be purchasing from them again.
