Gorgeous boots with incredible workmanship. The color is a little odd, but I think they would have aged well. Unfortunately, I had to return them. I am 5’7” and full-figured with 18” calves. I wear a 9.5 typically and that’s what I ordered. These were supposed to be wide calf but were so tall the wide calf part was at my knee and the lower leg part wasn’t wide enough for my calf. I also felt the foot size ran quite small. If you have long lower legs, these are beautiful and might work for you. But I’d size up at least a half size, if not a full size. Gave 4 stars because of the odd proportions and the need to size up, but they really were a beautiful boot!

These boots are made from a nice leather, although it is a bit more "distressed" than it appeared in the description photos. I was disappointed that they were more floppy and loose than a traditional riding boot (with a stiff, tall shaft). Four stars because while they seemed like good quality, they were just a bit too flimsy for my needs.

While boots were pretty and had fun styling, the foot of the boot was narrow and not tall enough for my high instep. The wide calf was great, plenty of room. But my foot just didn’t fit even though I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a 9.

These boots are GORGEOUS! Buttery soft leather, and a seriously cool look to them. The wider calf actually fit my larger (17") calves, too. And because you can cinch them in with the laces, they don't gape open at the top like most wide calf boots. I am 5'3" and these came all the way up over my knees. Sadly, the toe box is a bit too narrow for my wide feet because I have a bunion which hurts if at all squeezed. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5; I ordered these in a 9. They were only a little bit long, but unfortunately just not wide enough. Not that they are particularly narrow - I just have problem feet.

They get more comfortable with each wear. The quality is fantastic. I would definitely repurchase.

The leather is super smooth and molds to your leg nearly immediately. Even though I have narrow feet, at first, they were super tight around the ball of my foot, but then it seemed to give quite a bit even within an hour of wearing it. These are great boots for folks that don't want heels - so well made, too. The sole isn't very flexible, but I'd think that would get better after more wear.

The boot is beautiful. The leather is nice. The calf fits an athletic calf well but one shoe was much tighter than the other. I had to return them. At this price point I want comfort as well as quality.

These are kind of a bright peach color and run narrow. The calf can definitely accommodate 17+ inch circumference. I may order in black instead.

Irregular. One was bumpy and light and the other was dark and smooth. One had a lump where the toe cap was that was over stretched. They are fabulous soft leather perfect for an 18" calf!!!!...wish they cared to pair them better or make them less rustic. Tried to wait for another pair (sold out) to see whether second time was a charm, but no luck.

The toe box was very snug. Materials were nice quality.

I was skeptical about the style, and the lack of a full zipper but these do easily accommodate a wide calf and are fairly easy to get on and off. The problem is that the shaft is made of very thin, very supple leather and the half-zipper is extremely stiff and wide. This means that when the boot is on, the zipper isn't supported by the leather of the shaft and bunches up, which then rubs against my ankle bone and leg. Possibly if you have thick ankles, or wear thick ankle socks over regular socks this wouldn't be a problem, but I can also tell that the thin leather won't wear well and the entire boot will end up getting baggy around the ankles over time, which is a look I don't like. For the price, they could've easily done this style in a more substantial leather. Going back....

I am usually a size 6, however I got these in 6.5 so I could wear winter socks. I tried them on the second they arrived and they are too narrow for my feet, which has never once been a problem for me. The calves are indeed wide, which is what I need but I don't see how they are worth the price - with or without narrow feet.

Bought these because they are stylish and figured they would be comfortable. Even got a half size up. Wore these only twice and they hurt so unbelievably bad it crushes me that at $300 I cannot return them. I’d give them away but I wouldn’t do that to anyone I know they hurt that bad.

I'm so sad. I love these boots, but my legs are too fat. I cannot get the zipper up. The top of the boot is PLENTY wide, but the part just above the ankle - the actual CALF of the boot is too small.
