The strap is one that must be closed manually each time and it is too hard to do for an old decrepit person. I would like the strap to be velcro to get on & off easier. Thanks

I have to add a 1 and 3/8-inch build-up on my right shoe. I was also diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, so a very good quality pair of shoes is an expensive and necessary investment to avoid pain, discomfort and complications. This is why I have been purchasing SAS sneakers, sandals and lace up casual shoes for about 30 years. I was looking for a pair of black closed-toed shoes with a strap across the top (due to the weight of the build-up), to wear with dresses and pants. I have always purchased a size 6 1/2 wide with no problem. However with these shoes, when I had my right shoe built up as usual it made the shoe too tight and too narrow which has caused me pain and discomfort. I've only wore them once. I'm not sure why this pair of shoes is so different than my other SAS shoes but it's been very disappointing and very expensive purchase. And of course after a build-up is added to the shoe I cannot return them.

I bought these shoes for my mom for Mother's Day. They are stylish enough but they are labeled as double wide. They not wide at all. I had to return them.

I recently purchased a new style of non slip work shoes and I shouldn't have:( the shoes are not a good fit because it caused a bunion on both of my feet. So I am out of almost 200 dollars and just had to purchase another pair
