Loved these shoes, but they don’t work for the 3-bolt clips I needed for a Peloton bike.

I have been going to spin classes for several years. I needed a new pair of spin shoes. My current pair is also Shimano so I know that I liked this brand. When I received an e-mail about these shoes. I was very interested. I purchased these shoes and the cleats. Installing the cleats were easy. The shoes themselves are easier to walk in than normal spin shoes and they very effective in class. The mechanism to tighten and loosen them is easy use and works well. I highly recommend these shoes.

Perfect! Works exceptionally well with my schwinn ic4. They are easy to get on and off and fit wonderfully—just how they should with a slight lift in the heel. They’re light-weight and cool looking too!

Runs a bit small. I normally wear a US size 7 should. In this I ordered a European size that was suppose to be US 7.2; however, was too small. Size that is a US size 7.8 was much better for me. Love the way you tighten this shoe.

These felt true to size. I haven’t worn them to spin class yet. I put on the cleats myself by watching YouTube so will have to test it out soon and see how I did but easy to adjust if needed. I’ve been using Shimano for spinning for years now. My last pair lasted me almost 20 years! So I know it’s a quality brand.

Love these shoes! They fit great! I teach 3-4 indoor cycling classes a week and have for 12 years. These are the best shoes I have had. I got the purple which look cool. I like them so much I am considering getting a black pair too.

I love these shoes! They are super comfy! They are really stylish and I am very pleased. I wear a size 7.5 shoe and I bought size 40. I also bought the clips on zappos too. Great purchase!!

Shoes are comfortable and breathable. Size was on point. Easy to add cleats. Improves my ride. Perfect match to the SPD pedals of my Schwinn IC4.

These are the most comfortable bike shoes I've ever owned. I am getting the adapter NOW so I can try to put my outdoor cleats on them. They also look awesome. I was torn between the black and the blue and ended up with the black because I am boring and like black shoes -- but they are SO SLICK! I also got to see the blue ones in real life and they are super cool so if you are between the two colors, you can't go wrong. Love the fit, feel and breathability of these bike shoes. I want to wear them everywhere!

I was very leery about this shoe because I didn’t like the look or slip on type at first. But I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I went through several different styles and settled on this one. They are the most form fitting (many were too big or bulky). There is padding inside to cushion you in just the right places and they are very easy to get on and off. Spinning is a breeze with these!

Got these to use with SPD pedals that I put on my Peloton. They do not work with the delta cleats that come with a peloton; you'd have to get new pedals that are compatible with SPD cleats. I purchased my pedals on Amazon -- they are dual with spd clips on one side and toe cages for regular sneakers on the other side. The Peloton shoes that come with the bike were not comfortable for me. These, on the other hand, seem much more comfortable. Maybe I'm just getting used to wearing cycling shoes but I LOVE the Boa tightening system. It allows you to quickly and easily adjust how tight your shoe is even when you are clipped in to the pedal. I have seen Cody wearing Shimanos during my last couple of rides :)

I'm a 7M in street shoes and a 7.5M in sneakers, and a 7.2M fit perfectly. Love the Boa functionality for adjustment, and the fact that the cleats don't hit the floor when walking. I bought Shimano SPD pedals for our Peloton so that our road and indoor bicycles use the same shoes. (Shimano makes MUCH better shoes and clips than the Peloton ones!)

Normally I wear an EU 39 (US 8-8.5) but I had to size up to a 41 in these shoes. The size 40 fit my left foot perfectly, but my right foot has a slightly longer big toe so they were uncomfortably short on the right. Given that experience, I would say that the Shimano size guide linked in the description is pretty accurate, but the EU sizes are NOT in line with normal EU sizes. I have narrow, flat feet and these fit quite comfortably. Just the right amount of arch support. However, my heels do slip quite a bit. This doesn't seem to be a problem while riding so far, but it's annoying when I'm walking in them. They're not really walking shoes, though, so not a big deal. I've only done one 20 minute studio cycle in them, but had no issues with the shoes. I really like the BOA tightening system. Style looks fine. I wish they'd had the purple in stock in my size, but c'est la vie.

I'm new to indoor cycling, and tried on a bunch of different shoes trying to find ones that fit well, and these were the winners. It was between these and the Shimano IC100s in the end, and these won out because the BOA lacing system let me make them fit better on my feet. The sizing on these is a little weird. I'm a size 8. I tried the 8.5 and 7.8 in the IC100 -- my heel was slipping in the 8.5, and the 7.8 was a little snug. I ended up with the 8.5 in the IC5. The SPD cleats are very easy to install (with the help of some YouTube videos) and easy to adjust after riding with them to get them perfect. There is a lot of confusing info (to a newbie like me, at least) about how to install cleats. I guess on some shoes you have to take out the insole and put a plate inside the shoe. I got the Shimano SM-SH51 cleats, and I just had to screw them into the bottom of the shoes. Didn't have to do anything on the inside. Was easy. In short: these shoes are comfortable, easy to get on, easy to adjust, and easy to attach cleats to.

They are great. True to size, slight rubber on the sole for traction while walking in the gym. They would be a great outdoor road shoe with firm sole and power transfer. 5/5 for sure.

I am new to spinning and these are my first pair of cycling shoes. For reference I wear a size 7 street shoes and size 8 running shoes, medium to wide feet. Size 39 is perfect for me - snug with a pair of socks but does not pinch anywhere. The adjustment mechanism is perfect for quick in/out of the shoe. I bought the purple color and love it! Paired with SPD cleats for echelon bike.

These are great! I’ve had these for a number of months, and they’re lightweight, easy on and off, stylish, and well made. Get the shimano clips to go with. I ordered a 41/8.5 and am a 39 euro in everyday shoes from most brands. The 41 is perfect with a regular weight active sock.

I wore these to spin class last week and they were so comfortable! They were light, but I still felt supported and love that you can walk around in them without the clips hitting the floor. I got so many compliments on the styling as well! Great for my indoor classes!

I ended up returning these and going with Tiem spinning shoes because they have much more give than the Shimano IC5 shoes. Just a bit too rigid for my taste and I don't want to spend a lot of time breaking them in. I also found them a tad tight which may or may not stretch over time...

Just ok. I’m not wowed, but they work. Got these to use on Peloton, on which I switched to SPD pedals. I’ve previously worn Shimano size 42 (9.5) which for great, so ordered 42 in these. They’re not exactly “too small” but the fit is different. Feels narrower in toe box and lower behind heel/ankle (like my foot will slip out). Bottoms are not as firm as I’d like either. Feels too flexible on bottom than it should for a cycling shoe.

Easy to slip in and out with the tension knob. Footbed is firm so you have a powerful push and pull on the pedal. I got these because purple is my favorite color.
