They have great traction, which helps to prevent slips on all surfaces. They provide a level of comfort which allows you to wear them all day without any discomfort and they are rugged enough to prevent abrasion

Great boots but like all other Zappos shoes/boots, they're always An inch larger than normal for some reason. So, I've always bought the half size down every time.

I had the none I-met version and loved them. Rules at work changed and had to get metatarsals. Honestly after a day or two of walking you don't even notice the difference. The reinforced toe stands up to the daily abuse. Awesome boots!

Feels good to fit and size but strangely my tube socks won't stay up while wearing them even with two pairs but good work boot overall I just have to pull my socks up a couple of times a day

The boot is comfortable though a little on the heavy side. I wish I had gotten the standard width rather than the wide width. Felt great at first but now that the boots are broken in, they feel a little loose on me. I've worn them for about a week so I can no longer exchange them. Other than that, no real issues.

Too HEAVY !! Could not wear them to walk or walk faster for a few hours. My whole thighs felt ache after just one day of work. If you are working at a place similar to, sortation warehouse like Amazon, forget it. Only walking into the building to my working spot made me tired. Unless you work standing motionless, LOL.
They look great, I like them, but just too too heavy. Only wore to work for one day, that's it, leaving them for personal use. Grocery shopping, driving were OK. Recently shoveling snow, my socks stayed dry after 3 hours which was good.

I wanted to love these so much, but they are just too heavy. I understand these are boots but these may be the heaviest I've ever worn. I had to return them and get something different. This is where I give Zappos love, they make the return process so easy and painless.

After about 6 months of use as a sprinkler fitter, the sole was beginning to separate from the leather. It progressively got worse and worse to the point of no longer being waterproof. Flowing water and testing would result in soaked feet for the rest of the day. I will not be buying Timberland again.
