I purchased this boot to use while delivering for my job and so I'm pretty rugged with them. I have to make sure they are on snug, so I have to pull the strings tightly. When purchased the first pair, the bungee cord broke (in the left boot) - pulled right out of the boot. Only after having them for a few days. Now the second pair they sent me in replacement, the bungee cord broke AGAIN (in the right boot) - less than 2 months later!

This boot was comfortable to wear on day one, and stayed that way. I have owned four of these and they seem to have a fatal flaw: The lace gromets at the top are not strong at all. The inner plate (sandwiching the leather between the grommet) falls off. 1st pair: Grommet fell off during first lace up. Item returned for a replacement. 2nd pair: Lasted 13 months until the sole was deformed, tilting my feet outward. I should admit my ankles roll over and I put a lot of wear on the outer half of the soles on every shoe I own. Still, it was disappointing to retire a pair of $150 work boots after 13 months, when I spend about 60% of the time in the office and the rest on the jobsite or on the road. I'm a project manager. 3rd pair: Same as first. 4th pair. Same as third, except it waited three months before breaking. I'm going to look for another brand now.

Tried wearing these a number of days. I work 10 hours and on my feet, on concrete, all day long. These shoes failed miserably. My feet burned as if they had frostbite each time I wore them. Gave up and went back to my old shoes for now. Thankfully, they are not worn out.

I purchased this shoe because it was saying Waterproof but it is not! I would like to exchange this shoe

I wore these for a week working in an amazon warehouse. They are my first pair of work boots. Im not sure if they need a few weeks to break them in or not. I wore them for about 7 days. About 8-9 hours at a time. The sole of the boot felt super stiff. I felt like i was standing directly on the concrete slab. My feet hurt within an hour of wearing them. My toes got blisters and my lower back started to hurt. As far as the build of the shoe, I seemed to have put some scratches down the side and on the outer sole and the leather from moving pallet jack and just moving around the warehouse. I dont think these would last long if i worked outdoors in a more rough environment. Also i thought the anti-fatigue technology had some sort of soft rubbery material under the insole. Instead, all i found was just a hard flat surface under the thin insole. I definitely felt fatigue. I am going to try the Timberland Reaxion Mid to see if they have a softer sole system since they look like they are made for more indoor warehouse type of application.

It hurts my feet. I wonder if I can return this to Zappos. Even I throw away the original box. Coz I trusted the shoes. Next time I learned.
