Beautiful and functional -- and perfect for a narrow foot!

I was excited to buy these but they did not have the SOFTT padding in the right places for my foot and were too small. I have a fairly narrow foot so I wanted the laces and in this color but no matter how I wore them they were too uncomfortable, couldn't wear them more than a half an hour at a time. I wanted these to work but they just didn't.

These did not feel as cushioned as a previous pair in a different style. Also, on only the right boot, the stitching at the top on both sides of the zipper was so rough and finished badly, it was scraping my skin. These were returned.

It's now 2021 and I purchased these in Oct. 2019. The leather is still looking fabulous, but the decorative outside of the heel is peeling off which is annoying. I've worn down the heel on my instep but it's been my nearly daily fall/winter shoe for Oct. 2019--April 2021. It handled the rainy streets of London, strolling around Portland, OR and other wet places like a champ. You can't puddle stomp in it like a rubber boot, but I'd definitely recommend as a "waterproof" breathable leather shoe, but the heel won't last 5 years with my kind of busy life.

I have these in two different colors. I love this boot - so comfy and high quality. I ordered my regular size and fit perfectly. Also really like the material.

Loved the fitted look, and they seemed fairly well supportive. I really wanted them to fit, and they almost did. But really they were to narrow across the toes, and I have a borderline narrow foot myself. If you have wide feet, I wouldn't even bother with this style.

I really love the look + feel of this boot ~ particularly the unique color: Pietra Grey Oiled Cow Suede ~ only that it ran a half size small in width across the toebox + slightly lengthwise. I am 8.5 slightly narrow (though I've only ever had purchase Narrow in Dansko Clogs, as they tend to run wide), and I purchased these in 8.5. I noticed reviews here saying that this boot runs half size small/narrow, but since my feet are slightly narrow I hoped they might fit me just right. When I first tried the boot (with medium thickness wool socks), they felt slightly snug, though I loved the fitted look and hoped to keep them. After wearing them around the house for a bit, it quickly became clear they were in fact too small/the following day my second smallest toe was chaffed + sore. These boots have quite good/supportive arches, so I plan to try them in size 9 and am hopeful that half size up will work.

These run about a half-size small. I have other Sofft boots in 7 that fit perfectly, and the 7s for these were way too tight and I had to exchange them for a 7.5. Otherwise, these boots are excellent! They're cute and functional. I live in the midwest where slush and road salt are everyday in the winter, and these boots can withstand that. They're easy to clean the salt off of too!

These are nice boots! They're nothing fancy, but they're comfortable. It seems as if - over time - they will start to turn up a little bit in the front... the toe area. I'm not sure how that will look. (?) I like the fact that they're waterproof!

These boots are so comfortable and cute that I bought them in two colors. The green color is especially nice. I had to size up 1/2 size. They run a bit narrow — I have super narrow and low-volume feet and these fit well with winter socks.

Fit and size is true.

I usually wear a 7.5B but had to go with an 8.5B with these. The heel on the 7.5 was fine, but the vamp was narrow. Great-looking boots. The arch feels good, too.

I normally wear 7.5 so that's what I ordered. The shoes were a little big, so I order a 7. the shoes are beautiful!

I love the look and fit of these boots. I have a pretty small and narrow foot so the complaints it was “too narrow” didn’t scare me off. Walked to work in them yesterday and they are a bit stiff but the arch support is good and found them comfortable for many blocks. I think they’ll “break in” over time. In spite of the snugness, no blisters or raw spots! Like them A LOT! Definitely recommend.

I ordered a size up as suggested and they were too long in length and somewhat narrow for my wide platypus foot.

I ordered ALL 3 colors, absolutely love, for me (who has narrow feet) these are insanely comfortable. I don't want to wear any other boots! If they came out with other colors, I'd buy them too!! Love the Sofft brand, always great shoes.

I liked the picture. I ordered first in size 39, but they were much too long. I exchanged for #38, and they were much too narrow. Sad.

VERY comfortable boot, that is already adding style to my Fall outfits. Worth every penny!

Beautiful boot! I have very narrow feet and these fit well width-wise, so they must run narrow. They look fantastic on my feet. My one complaint is that the covering on the outside heel of the boot has peeled a bit, which is not cool for a $170 boot! I've only worn them to dinner twice, so I maybe walked 300 feet total. On dry pavement. I wonder if they would've peeled like that had they been left untouched in the box. I hope a little dab of shoe goo will fix this situation once and for all.

I liked everything about these boots except that they were so heavy.

These are cute and sturdy but were too tight for me to keep. It wasn't an issue of being narrow from left to right, but up and down--i.e. my foot felt too tightly sandwiched between sole and tongue/laces. I have only had this problem with one other boot, and I own/try on a lot of boots!

Great boot- comfortable, good looking, easy on and off. The heal and sole are rubber so great for walking- a keeper.

Beautiful boot however toe area extremely narrow.

My daughter loved loved loved these boots, but they were too narrow by the toes! Next larger size was too long and still not wide enough. So we had to return them. Please make a wide width.
