Just what I was looking for - they look great! Perfect patent leather, perfect low heel height. The left one was a teensy bit tight, but my left foot is a little bigger so that happens all the time. It's loosened up a bit after wearing these to work a few times. I wear them with SmartWool no show socks. I will say the soles are VERY slippery at first, you will need to scratch them up with sandpaper or on a sidewalk to make them not slip. Even after doing that, today walking on tile the first time I had to be somewhat careful and not rush for fear of slipping. Hopefully that will get better as I wear them more. Perfect transition shoe for winter to spring in NYC!

Posh looking shoe. I agree with the other comment. The tongue hits in the front of my ankle bone. I am wondering if I continue to wear them if it would soften up. Overall, the shoes are a little stiff because they are new. The foot bed is soft and the color is true like the picture on the website. If anyone could recommend another brand as nice as these without the discomfort of the tongue that would be great. I am on the fence about keeping them.

The 8 feels a little tight but I can deal with them if I wear nylon socks which I plan on doing.

Good I was looking for something so I could stop wearing heels! Will probably order another pair.

I love these shoes. I think they look great with pants. My only beef is that the heel is plastic and they make a lot of noise when you walk. For me, they were a little tight but they were so cute I'm going to take them and have them stretched just a tad. I'm sure they'll be fine afterwards. Most probably have no trouble breaking them in, but I have very tender feet in my old age and just refuse.

Nice looking oxford, good leather - a little stiff but should soften and age well - but back they go. I ordered the 8.5 and a 9 for my 8.5/9 narrow foot. The 9 was too short for me from the ball of the foot through the toe box with the pointed toe. The width was good with socks. Thanks Zappos for easy returns.

I should have listened to the other reviews about the slippery soles - I was sliding all over the place on my carpet! The shoes are super cute in my opinion, but the soles are a dealbreaker. Also the arch support was good but on one foot it didn't hit in the right place, so felt like a lump in the shoe. My hunt for the right oxfords continues!

I usually am size 7 in Sofft but these were narrower and tight in the toe box. Although they are beautiful oxfords, they have to go back. Walking on hard surface revealed a smooth sole that felt slippery. Not all all comfortable for my medium-wide foot and narrow heel.

Ouch! I wanted to keep them because I love love love the look. I just ordered 1/2 size bigger and I’ll update when I receive and try. I also ordered a different style Oxford just to see if the leather was any softer on another brand. Fingers crossed that these work. Any recommendations would be welcome. I have narrow heels. Need room in toes because I get Ingrowns often and tiny little toe corns so the leather has to be like butter to form to my feet. This was not the shoe for me but I’m still willing to see how a half size bigger will fit!

Like other reviewers, I *loved* the look of these shoes but the toe box is much too narrow to be comfortable. It felt amazing everywhere else. Really sad to have to return these.

This is a gorgeous shoe and I was so disappointed that it was just too narrow for me. I don’t have wide feet, but this style was way too tight across the front of the foot. Sofft, please consider adjusting the fit of this shoe or making it in a wide, as I’d love to have a pair or three.

I am so sad to have to return this beautiful shoe. It runs significantly narrow, and there is no wide width available. If you have a narrow foot, this is the shoe for you; however, if you normally wear a regular-width shoe, you may be disappointed, as I was. (It runs short, as well.) Please, Sofft, either adjust the sizing on this shoe or make it available in wide.

The fit and size was fine, but the material was horrible. These were the stiffest, hardest shoes I've ever tried to put on my feet. Absolutely no give to get them on. The only thing worse for flexibility would be to wear cement shoes. Awful.
