I ordered several of these sock and I do love the feel of wool on my feet. The one problem I have with them is that they are very tight and narrow at the top. I have small calves so I was surprised they felt it was too tight on me. The only way to wear them is too push them down toward ankle. I am a 7 1/2 shoe and ordered the large and it was too snug despite the size. If you have a wide foot and normal calves these will be likely too tight.

Nice socks, cover your entire leg up to the knee. My feet stayed warm while skiing.

Wow! I didn't know what to expect when wearing these for the first time. I put them on and loved how they hug my legs and the layer of Omni-Heat I felt on my foot was great. Kept my feet nice & toasty.

These socks are very warm and durable. Love them. Waiting for more to come back in stock so I can order more.

This is my 3rd pair of these socks and I have a 4th pair on the way. They are my new favorite winter sock. They are this and use the newest warming technologies to keep my feet warmer that the thick wool socks I replaced with these. They breath well and do not let moisture build up, which is very important for snow sports and winter hunting. My legs are a little muscular, so for others like me, you may find the tops a little too snug. I wrapped them around the tops of my boots for one week and solved that problem. I'm just amazed that these thin socks perform so well. I highly recommend them.

I think these will be the ones to keep my toes from freezing when footwear doesn't keep out all the cold. I could feel a difference from regular warm socks (e.g. wool, etc.). Plenty long enough, nice and high with little chance of slipping down, and tall to keep the calves warm, too.

Perfect height and warmth. We went out to cut a Christmas tree in rural Idaho. Lots of tramping in deep snow and then on to sledding. What a great product!

These socks are amazing. They are mid weight so don't impact they way your boots fit (whether wearing casual or ski/snowboard boots). The foil in the midfoot area is very effective in reflecting heat and keeping you warm no matter how cold it is outside. I have also used them on winter runs and they are fantastic. They are durable too and have held up well in the washing machine. Overall I highly recommend these if you need a light to midweight sock that will keep your feet warm without adding any bulk to your boots. I'm glad I got two pairs because they are seeing a lot of use!

I absolutely love these socks! I ordered an extra pair today because I adore them so much. I have Raynaud's, and my feet are always freezing. I wasnt sure these would be thick enough, but the magic of Omni-heat is amazing! I wore these to work with a pair of cowgirl boots, and my feet stayed toasty warm all day.

These are great for colder weather activities. They seem to work great fall and early winter while wearing regular hiking shoes

The Optical Grid ski socks are very well made. No annoying seams rubbing. Socks stay up without any sag. Almost like a compression sock. Very warm and the right thickness in the critical areas within your ski boot. Bought size medium for size 6-9. I wear a size 9 shoe. A little snug. If they shrink at all when washed (only worn once) I will give them away and order a size up. Good quality sock.

I bought these before moving back to Wisconsin and they were perfect! They have been keeping my feet so warm and for comfortably with boots on and are true to size!

These socks are amazing!! I put off buying them for awhile now, but now I wish I had bought them sooner! Can't wait to get more of them and have my feet toasty through the winter

It feels just like a normal sock & the Omni-heat within the sock is only a small piece only on the top of the foot.

I was disappointed to discover that these socks are not omni-heat throughout. Instead, there is only a small 3x2 patch of omniheat on top of the foot.

Socks not warm . Omni heat padding small & on top of sock. Disappointed thought they would have Omni heat padding on bottom. My wool socks are warmer & third of price.
