I bougt in size medium and my shoe size is 8 and it was still a little tiny bit big in the foot but the length is right up to the knee. I have slender legs and they stayed up and never slouched at all, but after wearing them for about 5 hour, you could see where the were tight around the top by the knee. But they kept my feet warm in my Ugg boots.

Solid mid-weight sock. Works well with hunting boots when it is cold in the morning, warm in the afternoon, and cools offbin the evening. Works well with insulated boots on stand and uninsulated if you're moving. Good elastic so they don't bunch up under multiple layers or when you're on the move.

I'm sure these socks will be perfect for romping around in the snow while in AK this winter.

I bought the only size available (M) that was 8-11.5 even though I'm 7.5 woman. But it wasn't that bad of a fit. It is longer than it looks and it wasn't really tight on my leg. It does create a little bit of fuzz after use or improper wash. But still a really good quality.
