I purchased this jacket thinking it would be of the highest quality, last a long time & be backed by Filson's guarantee. I'll start by saying I'll continue to wear my 13-year-old Mountain Hardwear down coat this was meant to replace instead of wearing this $240 jacket. I've had it less than 5 months and worn it minimally yet there are already visible amounts of down and PrimaLoft coming out of all the seams. The zipper is not smooth. The fit is awkward, however, I was willing to look over the awkward fit for function and now I wish I would have returned it prior to wearing it. It's tight at the bottom (other reviewers agree). I sent it in and Filson sent it back letting me know the "amount of down coming out was normal with wear". After wearing this Filson coat 5 times, more down is coming out than ever came out of my 13-year-old down coat. Anyways, save your money. I wish I had. Don't buy this jacket. This is the last time Filson will ever get our money.

Very well made coat and weather resistant. Make sure to order up one size. Overall, the coat fits correctly for my normal size of SM, but the bottom banding is too tight. I am a thinner build, so was pretty surprised by this. Makes no sense. I ordered a MD and even though it was slightly larger everywhere, the bottom banding fit correctly. Was not that sloppy looking with the MD so I kept it.
