The boot is comfortable but not for a double shift.

The size is perfect butthe width hurts to have them on. I can't even wear socks with them. But my feet are wide and I doubt that I will find a perfect steeltoe for me to walk/stand/work in for 10hrs a day.

I purchased these boots for work. I do a lot of walking, standing, lifting and carrying packages. At first the boots feel ok and light on the feet. After a few hours of working they begin to feel heavy and that’s when I realized there’s no cushion support for my heart. By the time my shift ends my feet are tired and achy. Currently trying to think of how to resolve this issue. The hard toes portion is very good in case something falls on my foot. However I need the boots to support my feet so that I won’t be achy and fatigued by the end of my shift.

Ok sooo....I am flat footed so I took the insoles out and put in a different one, comfortable! Also, I have wide ankles....shoes as is...too tight BUT I found a 32oz great value bottle on hand sanitizer at Walmart... perfect fit to sit right inside the shoes! Let them sit over night or longer and the next day they will be wide enough and comfortable! Might feel heavy when first put on compared to a sneaker but by day 2 you'll be used to it.

Quality boot but runs big. Got the same boot before. Loved them and wore them out. Perhaps sizing has changed?

I wore these shoes for a couple of months and they felt okay. But after about 3 months they became very uncomfortable for my 10 hr. shift and seemed not to provide me with support for my lower back or my feet. I had to buy another pair of shows as these only worked for a short period.

The size and fit were okay for the first 3 months. It did not take time to break into the boots, but barely 3 months after wearing the shoes for 10 hours a day became unbearable. My feet hurt like crazy. I had to discard them and buy another safety toe shoe from a different company which are very comfortable.

Not bad for a hiking boot. They worked fine but after a year, the top part of the heel sole is separating from the hiking boot. They protect my toes from injury in the warehouse. They are clunky but decent.

These boots were kind of heavy (as expected with safety toe). Padding was great! The width was not as wide as I expected, but I tried to tough it out hoping for them to get 'broke in'. After 2 months I ended up going somewhere where I could try on multiple boots to find the ones for me.

These boots are very uncomfortable up on the collar and the section that holds the composite toe is binding. The composite toe gets very cold in the winter, especially snow. These boots are lacking better insulation. I would not recommend these boots.

I found the boots to be stiff and heavy, and the leather loops make the laces hard to tighten. Went with Merrell Moabs.

Bought these a month ago & couldn't wait to put them through their paces. Feel great on your feet for long days standing, good traction, durability, toe cap protection, keep your feet dry as advertised. The issue comes when you go from standing to walking. The stitching of the left shoe/boot where the inside tongue meets up with the shoe/boot up near the top lace hole is digging into my foot with every step. The other stitch points all seem to lay more flat & aren't as "hard" as this one. Unfortunately this is making it unbearable to wear them & they are being relegated to a backup pair. I've put padded moleskin over the stitch but it just isn't enough to make these my everyday all year round boots as I hoped they would be. The features are 5 stars but the stitching issue drops the overall rating to 2 stars sadly.

I love Ariats (their cowboy boots not so much their work boots). Material quality & style is good, but very stiff and the toe area is WAY too wide. I don't have webbed toes. Very clunky when walking in them.

I love the look of these boots, the feel when you put them on is great, but you notice no arch support immediately (not a bad thing since everyone’s arch is different and there is plenty of room for a custom arch support). After a minute, you start to feel the rubbing on your toe. These, like a lot of composite toe work shoes, narrow too much at the toe, so the it rubs on your big toe. I kept one pair for about a weeks once and had to send them back. The blisters were bad and I did not want to develop ugly calluses on my big toes. This is such an easy fix, but companies still sell composite work shoes like this. I did find another pair that barely rubs. After two days, those mellowed and no longer rub at all - try the Carhart boots if you are also having problems like this. I will say if you have narrow feet, these boots are so beautiful and comfortable, I would try them out at regular width. I am guessing your big toe will not rub. I am sad I will be sending these back as these are comfortable otherwise and you can depend that your foot and ankle will be protected with these boots. Just a note: all the boots I have tried are a little long and my toes never touched the end of the boot. That is a really good thing!

I've been a loyal Ariat customer for over 20 years and have always appreciated the quality and durability of their bootsuntil now. Unfortunately, this particular pair has been a major disappointment. Despite being marketed as waterproof, they haven't held up to daily use around water and mud. I often work with hoses and troughs, and these boots leave my feet wet and uncomfortable.
Even more concerning, after just one year, the internal wire in the back of the boot bent out of shape and now digs into my ankle, making them painful to wear. It's a far cry from the performance I've come to expect from Ariat.
I'll be going back to the Terrain stylemy last pair lasted five years without issue. I regret switching to these and can't recommend them based on my experience.

Got these boots for a Bio field tech job and could physically not walk after the second day of wearing these. Had bandaids and socks on and my heels were still literally ripping off. I do not recommend if you are walking 10,000+ steps a day.

Too heavy, waaay too hard to break in. I've had them for 2 years now and still can't break them in. I had to go with a different pair of shoes but i still kept these for outdoor work around the house. I like the style but couldn't wear them for 2 hours on my feet on the concrete floors of the warehouse i work in. They hurt my feet.
