I have several Hubbard free lace ups that are very comfortable and have a high toe box. The tasseled traveler has a tapered front on top as well as on the sides. It can be worn with opaque hose, but not trouser socks. It pressed on my top big toe bunion and was very uncomfortable. There is no wriggle room for your toes in this shoe. It runs true to size and is well cushioned on the bottom.

I was looking for a sturdy pair of shoes that could be worn to the office with a business casual environment. I walk to meetings throughout the day, so I needed something that was stylish and would also provide support for an entire day (and then some!). Slipping these onto my feet, and like others have mentioned, seems as though they were too small. But a walk around (on carpet), told me otherwise. They fit perfectly and comfortably in my true size while wearing trouser knee-high and no issues with the heel coming loose. Hope that this brand will make a suede black loafer as well.

Perfect fit right out of the box. I am a size 9, medium width and find a few brands are too narrow. These are a perfect 9 medium. They are worth the price as leather is thick and luxurious, but not stiff, and will last forever. And I love the lug sole that still looks feminine. I bought the tasseled loafer in a beautiful British Tan color. I have a high arch and high instep, and usually require orthotics. These shoes do not have removable insoles, but they do have good arch support.

Can't say enough wonderful things about this shoe! The leather is rich looking and the insoles are well cushioned. They have enough room in the toe for comfort and hug my narrow heel just right. When I ordered these I also ordered a look alike shoe for about $100. less. By a mile the Hubbards. The winners and the less expensive, look-a-like is on its way back!

The shoes would've scored a 5 from me, had they fit my feet. The leather was beautiful and soft and there was a good arch support. Unfortunately, they were too wide in the heel, so they will have to go back. The company showed top quality in their workmanship.

These are great. No complaints at all, even from just out of the box they felt like heaven, what a shoe! No comparison to cheaper knockoffs, I should not have waited so long to invest in the real deal.

Love these shoes. This is my third pair of Samuel Hubbard's and these are beautiful and comfortable. I could sleep in them. They are good for dress or casual.

Beautiful shoes and well-made, but too small to accommodate my orthotics. Unfortunately they need to be returned.
