I loved this boot and so wanted to keep it...I believe it is true to size in every way, and the style and comfort were generally good. I have a bunion on my left foot and I had hoped the shoes would be wide enough to accomodate it., even though they are medium. Other reviews said they were wider than they liked. They weren't wide enough for that foot. Thank you Zappos for your service. More quality boots need to be made available in wider widths.

I love Born boots and these do not disappoint. I would not recommend for thicker calves as the zipper is on the inside and might make it difficult to put on. My calves are thin and they work well for me. I’m please and am excited to wear them!

They fit well and were comfortable, but I decided the shaft height was not very flattering for me so I returned. I am 5’2” with muscular legs.

I really liked these, but the short zipper made it impossible to get my custom orthodics inside them ,so could not keep them.

I really like these. They are ver comfortable. The only problem I have with them is the velvety material on the inside. It pulls down pretty aggressively on my jeans so I have to keep pulling them up.

Sad to say, I had to return these. I’ve purchased Born shoes before in my usual size 7, but these were so tight they were extremely uncomfortable. I also wasn’t hugely fond of the Western style, which I didn’t notice via the online photos.
