I really want to love these boots!! They are so comfortable and I love the feel of the leather. Unfortunately, the very top gaps out on the outsides making for an unflattering leg shape. So disappointed because other than that, I love them!

After reading the other reviews I thought these boots would be perfect for my 14.5 inch calves. Unfortunately, they are 15 inches at the very top, but only about 13 inches around the widest part of the calf. My calves are 15 inches with skinny jeans on, and I couldn't get these zipped up very far at all.

Beautiful boots. But, I am too short. I'm 5ft 2in. and these are for taller women. The top of the boot comes up over my kneecap so they are awkward under pants and look funny on me. Gorgeous boots. Sad to return them.

I love everything about these boots except the calf is way too large. I feel like the calf should only be this big if it was sized as a Wide. Unfortunately I have to return them. :(

I was really surprised these 8.5 were so small on me, having gotten a 9 in another Born style and they were too large. Nice boot though, seems quality.

These boots are just WEIRD. The fit is weird, the leather isn't really that nice, and the top of the boots are waaaaay wide and misshapen. Born is usually a great buy. This style just needs to go in the junk pile. The front of the foot is very narrow, but the top is so wide. Leather is not good quality. Oh well...

These boots are stunning. The leather is so soft and the inside has a nice velour texture. They felt true to size. Like a lot of reviewers commented, the calf is pretty wide. The issue I had is that the arch support is too intense. And I have high arches! The arch support was digging into the soles of my feet. Not sustainable for standing. I had to return.

I have worn Born shoes for years, they are usually one of the most comfortable types of footwear around.. These boots were so tight that I could not bend my ankle! They were very uncomfortable. I hated to have to do it, but I did return them. Gotta love Zappos return policy!
