I have to say that these are the best boots I've ever had . I work at a hydroelectric power plant and these boots are very comfortable on my feet. I plan on getting another pair of these to. I have found iout in the past it is good to have extra pair . I want to say I thank you for a great pair of boots and my feet thank you! Best boots ever!!

Easy to put on, husband loves the comfort and style. Works every night with them on and has no problems with achy feet when he gets home.

The boot is very comfortable, and keeps water out very well. The zipper feature is very handy for getting your on and off, it gives it the feel of a cowboy boot slip on with laces to secure it to your ankle. The rubber on the toes seems to hold up pretty well, I've had these boots for about 3 months and overall they are a really nice boot.

The side zip is awesome, after you break them in you don't have to untie them.

great quality and looking boots- worth the price. I bought them for my young adult son-get a size down because the way they are built makes them 'big boots'

These are my first Ariat boots as I typically only wear Rocky boots. I still prefer my Rockies as far as pure comfort goes but these Ariats have been great so far. Far superior in the water proof department compared to the Rocky boots though which is why I purchased these. I saw a lot of people complaining about the break in process on these but I didn't have any issue with them, just slipped them on and went on my way. The sizing was also accurate.

Great boots! I have been wearing these for a little over 8 months now and they are holding up very well. Having a lace up boot with a side zipper is a game changer

Very happy with these boots after about a year of everyday use. I can say I'm happy with these, they're still water proof a little wear on the toe but the toe isn't visible yet. Wasn't to sure about the zippers on the side but after a long day of plumbing it's nice to be able you unzip them after a long day. But also makes it easy to slip them off when going in and out of houses. For the negatives the lace hooks on the outer part of the boot started to break of around 7 months in. The zip sometimes would get caught but we're easy you free up, and last the inside heel material began to rip a few months back. But over all very happy with them

Overall: good quality, relatively comfortable, convenient but a bit on the bulky side.
The boots definitely looks and feels of good quality. Even my wife commented on how good it looked as I took them out of the box.
I've owned exclusively slip on workhogs for the past decade with a few other Ariat varieties along the way. I took a chance with the side zip. The zipper is smooth and the boots feel like Workhogs.
Comfortably is as expected from a Workhog boot. In my opinion the Ariat Treadfast lace ups are more comfortable than any Workhog I've owned. However the Workhogs seem like better quality.
It does feel bulky. At least moreso than all the other workhogs I've owned. Steel toe, composite and soft toe.
The side sipper definitely is convenient. It's a bit harder to slip in and out of than a regular slip on.
Time will tell of this changes.

I love the look of these boots. The composite tor, and side zip entry were my selling points. They fit a bit snug in the heel but im sure will wear in. Time will tell.

Super comfortable, only issue is the left toe box seems to be slightly smaller had to use a little bit of sand paper on the inside and the removable insole. The sizes run big

I just purchased my second set of these because I liked them so much. After a few days they feel like you're wearing sneakers and can be worn all day no issue. The first set I had lasted well over a year and still have life left but have separated in a few spots making them no longer waterproof.
My only complaint is the metal eyelets cut these laces down and I find myself getting new laces every 3 or 4 months. I've never had this issue with any of my other boots and it's incredibly inconvenient when you go to lace up and snap 37 inches of lace off.

Just received boots seem like great quality. Gave 4 stars only docking these boots because of the weight they are a little on the heavy side. As far as fit they run a little big I typically wear 11.5 in everything but got these in 11

Ariat makes a great work boot, no doubt. They use top notch materials & there's definitely a ton of excellent craftsmanship going into their products. My only major complaint about the WorkHog XT boots are the lack of padding in the heel area as there is zero padding. It's just leather. I've never had a boot damage my heels so much in my life. I lace & tie my boots based on the mountaineering style of lacing to ensure no heel slip and still ended up with not only large blisters (wearing top of the line Gold Toe padded socks) but both of my heels were severely bruised. I had to order some stick on heel pads and use thick bandaids to get past this. I walk between 4 and 8 miles a day mostly in sugar sand, dirt, & mud. Besides the lack of padding the boots are extremely rugged & made to stand the test of time. I love the side zipper & the look of the boots hands down. I'm on the fence on whether or not I'll purchase another pair of Ariats based simply on the lack of padding but we'll see if it's other attributes help me to looks past this singular issue.

You have to put a finger behind the zipper so it doesnt grab on the material inside. Boot also runs a little narrow. I have only had them for a week so im hoping these things will change as they brake in.
