These are the boots I’ve been dreaming of. I usually wear 7.5 or maybe 8. I went with the 7.5 and there is some room... but I think it’s good. Have worn with thick socks and thin socks and they work with both. I walk many miles and they were comfy right away. And not clunky like you might think. I’ve got the distressed black leather and they are sorta brown, but how you would expect black leather to wear. The toe is solid but the shaft of the boot is quite soft. They’re perfect.

I love these boots. The distressed leather is soft and therefor has a nice fitted look around the ankle - not thick and bulky. Wore them all day and felt great all day. They are slightly heavy. I read many reviews that said they run very big. I bought my usual size (7) and thought they were perfect.

I ordered 1/2 size up and had to return it. I was able to get the right size in black. This boots are comfortable and super cute. The material is soft and my toes are happy! The lug sole is a plus for the winters in the Midwest. I recommend this boots. I get a compliment every time I wear them.

Just out of the box, I like these even more than I thought I would. They remind me of Doc Martens but more comfortable and slightly more fashionable. Fit is awesome and I love the color! Ordered distressed black but they do not appear black, for the record. More of a bronzed brown, but I think that makes me like them even more!

Stylish edgy & beautiful boots! I ordered the black distressed leather and really love them.

I had purchased boots based on reviews & style, and price. I wear 11M & selected the aubergine vintage color (suede surface). I've always wanted combat boots, and this was my first experience in trying this style, so I ordered a variety (thankful for zappos great return policy). I agree with other reviews; these boots are both rugged & feminine style. The boots fit just right and comfortable, where it doesn't feel there will be any break in time needed. My feet are super sensitive to shoe styles/sizes, where I can usually tell right away if they will work (who wants to risk breaking in shoes?). I really like the tie style with zipper entry...so quick & easy to get the boots on & off.

cool boots. very high quality but not good fro my daughter's feet which are not wide but also not narrow.

They feel a little roomy in the heel, but everything else is good. The distressed black appears to be grey, which is why I ordered that color. In person they are much more brown. I still like them, but if that is what you are looking for go for another boot.

I ordered an 8.5 and when I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised by the look of them. The leather felt soft and the color was exactly what I hoped for. Unfortunately they were too big and I exchanged them for an 8. Again, too big!! In the end I ordered a pair of dr Martens. I’m happy I did. Last but not least I want to point out the excellent service of Zappos’!

Normally wear a 9/12 -10, ordered the 9 1/2 based on reviews and still too big.

Not very comfortable. Cute but... Returning.

I've owned Frye's before but Frye and Co are not the same quality. The outside leather feels really cheap and there is NO padding or support inside AT ALL. I walked around for 20 minutes and my heals were aching, they feel like they go right to the boot sole. I was going to buy some supports but it's crazy to have to add that to a $130 boot so back they go.

So very disappointing!! Besides the fact that these boots felt too long and too wide, they looked cheap. I mistakenly thought I had ordered genuine leather boots. This material felt odd, like thick construction paper. I liked their worn, distressed look but I couldn't wait to exchange them for a pair of beautiful Taos boots.
