Love the look, style and fit of these boots, including the back zipper accent. However, the noise from the zipper pull is quite annoying. Not enough for me to send them back but, hoping I can find a way to make it stop.

They were comfortable right out of the box. Cute style, and love the detail of the exposed back zipper. The zipper tab does make a noise when walking (pretty noticeable), but I looped a piece of black leather through the zipper pull, and it kept the metal from clanking together.

These boots honestly fit like rain boots. The cut was pretty straight so there was a huge gap around my ankles making these uncomfortable and gave the appearance of having larger legs than I do.

The boots were great. The only problem was the back zip - which made noise with every step as the metal zip tab slapped against the full zipper. This was too annoying for me so I had to send them back.

I have picky feet and have never been able to take a pair of boots right out of the box and wear them for a full day without being miserable... until now. The Jolie Back Zip was super comfy right out of the box - I wore them all day yesterday and could have worn them again today if I wanted. They are about average width with not a ton of arch support, but you could probably squeeze an orthotic insert in if needed. The full back zip makes them super easy to get on and off - I had surgery to fuse a big toe, which has reduced a lot of flexibility in that foot, but these boots were very easy to get on and off. I didn't measure the calf, but I don't have particularly skinny legs and didn't have any trouble zipping these up. The leather isn't super high-quality, but for the price they are definitely worth it. Very cute boot - super plain on the front which makes them versatile, but the fun zip up the back gives them some pizzazz.

Sadness! These boots are beautiful and I wish they fit. The calf on the size 9 is quite wide and too big for me.

Frye boots are always beautiful, with gorgeous quality leather and impeccable styling. Sizing is very accurate and the footbed is extremely comfortable. However, the calf circumference really IS narrower than in previous years!! I thought Zappos was a bit off when the sizing listed a 14 in. calf measurement, as Frye wide calf boots are usually closer to 16 in. but that's totally accurate!!! Lovely boots but I am returning them.

I usually wear a 7 1/2 wide so ordered the 8’s. They fit perfect & ate very comfortable. They are a little loose in the ankle/calf area & also taller than I like but overall a good boot for the price.

Not sure why the other reviews say the zippers make noise and it bothered them. For me it was not a problem. Loved these. Fit well and debating buying them in brown! Love!!! Don’t think twice!

I got these on sale and I’m waiting patiently for them.!!! I bought these at Xmas for granddaughter and she loves hers!!!Hers I purchased at Macy’s they’re scratched on one only ( as that one was out on display). I received a awesome discount ....I then brought them to the cobbler for a good old fashioned clean up ( waterproof,shined up... The leather is so soft!! I’ll add another review on the leather when I receive mine....

These boots are true to size but the quality is lacking. Feels stiff and kind of cheap looking.

I liked the boots online but when they came in and I tried them on they were to big and a hard leather therefore I sent the boots back for a refund

There was a nail that seemed to almost poke through the bottom of one of of the shoes into the sole, making it extremely uncomfortable. Not sure if this was a defective shoe, but had to return

Felt tight, but length was ok. Style is plain, but has the unique zipper. Leather is nice quality and everything felt well-made. I did not find them comfortable.

I would expect more from Frye. I have a beautiful pair of black Frye boots that are worth every penny. These are not. Leather is super cheap, felt like plastic, and because of the way one of the boots was packaged, it had a puncture scratch from the cardboard on the inside. Honestly, these looked and felt like something you could get at payless or target. Returned. Sizing was correct though. I'm between a 7.5 and an 8 so I ordered both. 7.5 fit with a light sock, 8 would have fit fine if I wanted to wear heavier socks. The issues is that the area around the ankle is huge. They look like rain boots.

THIS BOOT IS DEFECTIVE!! It seems as if the boot shaft was cut about 1 inch too short on each back side. To solve this problem without cutting another shaft correctly, Frye added a second zipper, outside the original back zipper as designed and pictured. DO NOT ORDER THIS BOOT--IT IS DEFECTIVE!!!
