Very nicely made boots, comfortable and true to size. I also tried Dingo Alamedas (not very supportive) and Dr. Scholl's Adriana (felt clunky) and these took the prize hands down in both looks and comfort. Highly recommend despite the price.

These have a great look with skinny jeans and sweaters. The color is a beautiful neutral Taupe that blends with everything. Gorgeous suede boot! I have not yet worn these with dresses but that is also a great option. These are appropriate for work and all but the dressiest of occasions. The heel height gives a nice lift but completely comfortable if you have to do some walking. The fit was great for me in size 7m and a comfortable arch is important since I have a high arch. Glad I got them!

Lovely boot with lush black suede. I'm 5'6" and it came to 1 1/2" below knee. It fit true to size, and I have no problem putting them on (no zipper) without socks. A thick sock made it way too difficult, and since I live in a cold climate socks over hoisery is necessary. The one caveat, and the only reason I'm returning them, is the back heel support: it's cardboard, and with socks on I know it needs to be more supportive.

I ordered a half size up to wear socks & im glad I did ! They are perfect !

I wear a 9 narrow and these boots fit great with a light sock. These are easy on and easy off (unlike another pair of short Frye boots which require a great deal of tugging to get on). I wore these boots to work today and they were comfortable all day. I originally purchased in both Taupe and Black. I returned the black pair because I did not like how the pre-worn suede toes were sort of shiny compared to the rest of the suede. The pre-worn suede is not as noticeable on the taupe pair. Call me old-fashioned; but I prefer to wear out my own clothes and shoes. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

I was excited about the possibility of owning Frye boots--usually they're out of my price range--but I was disappointed with these. I have difficult-to-please feet, so I'm not really subtracting for the poor fit--most shoes I buy over the web are no-goes. But I was at least hoping for beautiful leather and great construction. These were rather soft, flimsy and shapeless suede. The overall impression was nothing special.

Love! So cute and comfortable. While they don’t zip, they go on easily. My legs are athletic, not thin. Highly recommended!

It was my mistake to order boots without noticing that there was no side zipper. Because of my very high arch, I cannot get into the boots. They were beautiful, wished I could wear them. This was my first order with Zappo. Excellent to work with on the return will do business with them again!

I got these in black and really liked everything about them except the distressed look at the toe area.

Beautiful boot but I have a very high instep and couldn't get my foot in it. Wasn't sure how to rate the fit based on that. Hate to have to return them, they're lovely.

These were cute boots but they are not for petite women such as myself. The calves are too big and my legs were swimming in the boot. Since they were so loose, they would scrunch down as I walked. They look nice if you have the right build.

Very, very cute boot for the brand and price. I wear a size 9 and had to order a size up. But overall nice boot to dress up or down! ?

Love these boots!!

Pros: These gorgeous boots have a lovely shape, I loved their stitching and lines. Unfortunately, the heel felt as if it were constructed of cardboard-like material, and did not feel as if it would last long. While the suede was high quality and dark black on 95% of the boots’ surface, 5% looks very (unnaturally) worn, shiny in spots, grey and pilled in others.
