Customer Reviews Frye Billy Inside Zip Bootie

Just tried these on and they fit right out of box. I always look forward to my 10-20 min workout trying to get my Fryes on for the first time. :) These were super easy to get on and now join my Frye family as pair #6! I saw the other reviews about running large. I always ignore that in Frye sizing, because my feet are on the wide side. I do wear a medium width shoe, but sometimes shoes are narrow on me. The pointy toe box on the Billy compelled me to order my usual size [8.5]. If my feet weren't on the wide-ish side, I would consider ordering down a half size. I'm keeping these, but others with very average width feet may want to consider ordering down.

I listened to the other reviews that said these run large - so I went with my normal size of 8.5. I got the boots and they are a bit too small. So wishing I went with the 9 and now they are all sold out and I'm truly sad I have to return these.

The Red is absolutely beautiful. These seem to run a bit large, and are much wider than Frye's typically are. The plus side is that I won't have to go through the break in period typically required; they were immediately comfortable. (But I'm left wondering if they'll stretch and ultimately be too large because of this.) Also, the toes are pretty upturned, which I wasn't expecting. This is the first "western" style boot I've ever worn though, so this all may be typical. I will be keeping these because I'm in love with the color and instant comfort.
