We tried to keep these shoes--they looked great and my son loved them. But, every time he wore them, his achilles heel was aching for a day. We even had him wear other shoes for a week and return to these, and again, he would be hurting. Then the insoles came out (with limited usage since we were trying to see if it was the shoes or something he was doing). Unfortunately we had to return these shoes.

Very disappointed with the style and fitting, my son had blisters after only trying them for 20 minutes.

We bought these on March 4 and by April 1 they were falling apart. There are holes in the mesh of both shoes over the front of the foot, and my son wears them to school, not for sports. We always buy Nike but the quality of these is very disappointing.

Our son (11yr old) was excited to try these for his 1 mile boy scout runs. After the 2nd run the shoes caused shin splints (what we gathered from how he described the pain). He's fine but we have to return these. My husband told me that he always got shin splints from wearing Nike so he's always been a Saucony or Brooks fan. I guess we will try those brands instead for our son.

I used the Zappos kid's size chart and it sized my son at a 5Y. This seemed strange but I went with it because the shoe sizer should be accurate. These shoes are enormous. I ordered a 5Y, too big, sent back for a 4.5Y and those are too big also. I'm giving up. It's been a month with back and forth shipping to get a new pair of sneakers. It's a shame because Zappos is usually great, but the shipping slow downs with Coronavirus are really making it difficult.
