the shoe is a lot smaller than the size I wanted. I usually order 9.5, and I thought I knew what I was buying. It was very painful to walk in this shoes yesterday at Amazon.

I just need one size up because it's tight.

Strong shoe, didnt like the toungue it seemed to low to my ankle, I like a higher top for extra ankle support. But great protective wear. Shoes fit differently for everyones different feet.

I have to wait to break into them. The first day wearing them was painful

I order these shoes every year through Amazon's safety shoe program for work. They are so comfortable and light weight and they never hurt my feet. My only complaints are that the heel wears out after half a year of daily use and that this year the shoe laces are 7 inches (+/- 1 inch) SHORTER then the previous two years I have purchased them. You cheap SOBs. I had switch out the new places with my old shoes so I could tie them comfortably. Seriously guys? For a few cents...

Great shoe definitely love the look and feel of the shoe itself. Only problem is that it isn’t live up to expectations; the first day yes they were very comfortable on my feet. But after wearing more than once all that comfort is gone pretty quickly my feet were definitely hurting so I’d suggest buying gel pads for these shoes. But all in all I like them other than the discomfort. Someone lied in the reviews for sure.

They hurt my feet

Toe cap is extremely tight even in wide width

When I walk in the shoes it makes my feet feel heavy

If you have a wide foot, the Extra wides are still too narrow

The shoe was good at first but after a few used it started to break down on the heel

The first pair were too small, size 8 - my regular size. But after talking with a Zappos rep, I was able to return the 8's for an 8 1/2. They fit better and my toes weren't scrunched up like in the first pair, however, the 8 1/2's will need a breaking in. It shouldn't take too long since I'm on my feet all day. I really like the design of the Thorogood's - very cool! Thanks to everyone at Zappos who helped me out finding the right shoe and correct size. Everyone I spoke to went above and beyond what they really had to do. Thanks so much!! It's greatly appreciated.

Not a durable shoe. Pieces of the bottom have come off and the sole has almost worn through after almost 9 months of regular use. I have calluses on my big toes even though I ordered them a half size bigger and in wide.

To narrow, i ordered extra wide and still to small. move up a full size or size 1/2

fit is good. fairly comfortable, but a little stiff breaking in. Only had them a month, so time will tell. I'll update review after i've had them a while longer.

Heels slips out of shoes when walking. Must pull laces really tight to help prevent shoes from coming off

4 h on concrete floor is the max I can do with these shoes ?

They were a little tight but just took me wearing them for a little bit to break them in.

Very awkward on the foot. I thought I'd love these because I have the Crosstrex Mid by Thorogood, but I just found them to be bulky and awkward to wear all day. The back of the shoe constantly slipped off the back of my foot if I went up on my toes or went to step up the stairs at my office. There ok to wear for a quick stop at the store, but not to wear all day at a physically demanding job.

This size is big on my feet.

Fit a bit bigger was a little room in the back.

Overall I would say it’s a good shoe, but they could use some softer soles
