Customer Reviews Thorogood Crosstrex Mid Waterproof Comp Toe

I really wanted the Caterpillar branded electrician boots but I believe it isn't manufactured anymore. I chose these crosstex boots instead. I chose them because the sole is stitched and NOT glued, as I have seen some of the more inferior boots are manufactured by the glueing process. I have bought every boot sold by Walmart and they usually last me from 2 months-9 months. You get what you pay for. I have bought Timberland, Northlake, Redwing, Caterpillar, etc, and have gotten OVER 2 years of use from them. I've never heard of the "Thorogood" brand," which these boots are made by but I give many brands a chance. If they FAIL, I will never spend another dollar on the brand. These boots fit well and look as if they were made well as well, as far as durability goes, I DON'T know yet, but I'll give the boots some credit. They look good, are lightweight, do have the required "safety toe" as well so I will see if they perform as well as they look.

Great shoes just to small

Excellent fit, though after reading other reviews I went up 1/2 size and they were a perfect fit. Very comfortable but since I am on my feet and do a lot of walking I added a sole insert. Perfect !!!! I would order these again.

I just got these yesterday as a replacement for the Keen's that fell apart. They are a nice shoe to look at and so far, they have been extremely comfortable. A good shoe.

What size larger and it caused a blister on them back of my foot near my ankle

Size runs 1/2 smaller than regular shoe width was good and no problems

I have ordered 3 shoes from Zappos none I say none are the right size. None of them are the right size ( width) who measures these shoes? I do not have time to keep returning shoes.Just send me a Voucher and I will buy a pair of shoes I can wear.

This shoe is a replacement for another style. And let me begin with some background. I have worked as an iron worker. Factory worker. Asphalt. Concrete. Wearhouse and freezer. Oh and wrecking yards. I've worn every manner of work boot. From steel toe to composite. And these are by far the best composite toe in the price range. The fit is spot on. They are comfortable, and stay tied. I can't see any issues. I am also a diabetic. And I have neuropathy in both feet. Most boots hurt. Can't be helped. These don't. I can't recommend any other boot but these. Don't waste your time with anything else.

It a good pair of lightweight boots

The shoes are amazing. The fit was perfect. Spent 10 hrs., walked close to 10 miles in ‘em on day one. The grip is perfect even on wet surfaces. Very comfortable on the inside. Don’t think I need insoles as of now.

I wear my new shoes at work. They are reasonably comfortable and very stylish.
