I like the shoe but it was a completely different color than the one online or the picture on the box.

I ordered a couple of pair of wingtips because they all look pretty much the sam don the website. This participation pair was a little large around the upper is I decided to send them back. They felt pretty comfortable but that was just my initial impression

Brown and texturing were as expected but toe weathering was more pronounced than photos showed. Great feel!! Quite happy

I only buy shoes from the Imperial line and was shocked at the clearance price that appeared recently - amazing deal. The Classico cap toe has nice leather that broke in quickly. I always use shoe trees and the Classicos are holding up well with alternating use among my other Imperials. Excellent bang for the buck. I do wish Florsheim would bring back metal eyelets in the Imperial line. Seems like minor corner cutting to eliminate them.

The shoes look great and though I was worried that the size would be too wide since I normally wear a B width and these were D width, they fit just fine.

Fit felt delicious, but the two-tone brown color on the toe looks like a spray paint job. Returned the brown and will get the black instead. Fit feels true and a delight to wear!! Love the leather soles and everything else about them!!!!

This is a great quality blend-in shoe that doesn't distract from a nice suit but compliments it well. It is classic and has exceptional construction. Fits well through the toes, heel, and top of foot, some gapping for me in the arch compared $100 Bostonians. This shoe is clearly going to last a while. Comes out to a great shine. #sweepstakes

The shoes I purchase are great. The only thing is because of the long toe I need an 8 and not an 8 and a half.

I picked these shoes up as an "inclement weather shoe" to keep my nicer leather soled shoes out of rain, slush puddles, etc. Walking around on wet concrete tears up leather soles. These shoes have a nice looking, thin, synthetic sole that looks like a single oak leather sole from head level. They aren't as nice as Florsheim's higher end shoes or those of some of their competitors, but for the price I am very pleased with them. There are a couple things I don't like about these shoes. One is there are some loose threads sticking out between the upper and the lining in the heel area. The other is that they have nails in the heels. Given the state of modern glue technology I see no good reason to put nails in the heels that may start to scratch floors as the heel wears. Also... where's the burgundy version? Burgundy/wine/Kiwi "cordovan" polish color is awesome and seriously underrated these days. Finally, I wouldn't recommend neutral paste polish on the tan version. This isn't a problem specific to this shoe. I shined them up with paste shorty after I got home and ended up with an unsightly mess of white wax caught in the pinking. I'm sure you can clean then up but it would be a bit of a chore. Kiwi "Color Shine" no-buff liquid polish in neutral seems to work quite well. If you already have wax buildup try saddle soap. It took care of my build-up problem. My shoes are shiny and looking good now. That won't stop me from trying tan polish when I get my hands on some.

I like being able to wear a more semi-pointed cap toe without being to narrow or tight on the foot. The brown color is just the right shade.

Haven't had too many opportunities to wear them yet, but they seem very well padded, comfortable and stable. Leather and stiching is high quality. My only gripe is that I wish the toe was a bit more rounded and less squared, but I knew about that before purchasing the shoe.

I really needed a light brown shoe to replace my old ones. I bought them online since my local shoe store didn't have anything I liked. I've worn 12D for 40+ years and my other Florsheim Imperials are 12D. So of course I ordered 12D. When I got them in the mail I was excited to try them on. Whoa!!! These shoes are way way too long! I took them off and looked inside to make sure they were 12D and they were. When I put them on the toes would curl up and look like elf shoes. I sent them back in with the provided label but still cost me $9.90 to mail them back. About 4 days later I got an email that said I was refunded my purchase price. My advice is to find them in a store to make sure you get the right size.

It's a little odd that the only choices are D and 3E, but being a 2E, the 3E was fine. the styling is great. I like that it's not a sneaker rubber sole, which so many shoes have now. The craftsmanship looks in line with price and the shoes look great. they pretty good on cushioning, but do run a little big

Everything was great about the shoe except the size was about 1/2-1" off. That may be because the shoe is more pointed and my shoe is a wide version. With that exception in place, I will buy this again, just a half size smaller. Great appearance, comfort, and very nice appearance.
