Do not even think about getting these unless you have a small to medium calf size. Otherwise, the edges get further and further apart as you go up the leg. Result is not pretty!

I have had these boots for over 2 years now, and I have literally worn them every single morning, whatever the weather, to walk my dogs. They're comfortable and keep my feet dry.
I do look after them though, after each walk they're cleaned properly, dried and I add a proofing product to the leather to keep them waterproof.
I am sorely tempted to buy another pair at this reduced price for when my boots actually need replacing.
If you look after them, they'll look after you

I was a little apprehensive spending so much as I have awkward feet & struggle to find comfy footwear. I did the size guide quiz and it suggested soze, but followed my gut and got my usual 8. They were tight the first time I put them on, but did the classi trick of thick socks and hairdryer and they soon fitted comfortably. I also had to soften the heels a bit with the old spoon and hairdryer trick. All time well spent as now they're like slippers, I can wear the all day with no rubbing or soreness - I love them!

A bit big in the size compared to my other boots from ariat in same size. But generel great and beautiful boots for everyday life, stable and for hacking.

Love these boots. Wanted them for ages and sold my Fairfax and Favour Imperials in preference to these - so much comfier and way better value for money (in fact bought my daughter another KG pair with the remaining 'boot pot'). I went for the non-fur option as I want to wear them during the warmer months and I also prefer the colour. I'm not a horsey person but did wear them to the Races NYD and have worn them on several longish walks - never any problems and very comfortable. All in all I'd highly recommend these boots - true to fit, I'm a 6.5 and they fit very well with your average sock, and the lace up fastening would allow for smaller and larger calves too !!

These boots are great. They don't need to be broken in, and are really good for walking around the barn in. My feet don't get sore or tired. And, for the boots not being insulated, my feet stay pretty warm. However, they do scuff easily, but the scuffs would probably come out with saddle soap and conditioner.
Overall, great boots.

I loved these boots I have had 2 pairs but like the other customers mine also split after one season both pairs
shame as very comfortable and lightweight for walking in.

Great go to boot for yard work but laces hooks got in the way with stirrup leathers at times so unsuitable to ride in.Good fit and comfortable but split and let water in after another 13 months or so. The longer length model may have better lacing system but reluctant to buy in case they split too as too expensive to throw out after just over a year!!

I had these brought for me as a gift and loved how comfortable they were and also the look , sadly they are not waterproof. I walk in wet grass but do not walk through puddles however the side leather on both sides are coming away from the sole , these boots are a year old but have only been worn during the colder months. Very disappointed with the quality and the fact I'll need to source another brand which may not be so comfortable I have recommended these boots to all friends but obviously this was before the wet feet issue

I bought these lovely boots approx 18 months ago and was delighted with the appearance and comfort of them. Sadly they are not robust as the leather has come away from the sole allowing water in. Having worn them for only two winters, twice daily for walking the dog, I'm disappointed in the quality and workmanship considering the price. They do look nice though!

Hi,
I've been meaning to write and mention this to Ariat but after the third time of wearing, I felt damp toes. I had only been in wet long grass, not the beach where I'd been hoping to use them. Disappointed with what should have been fully waterproof.
On a more positive note they are so so comfortable and have rubbed even once.

Unwearable. They cut my heels to pieces. There is an extra layer of leather on the interior of the footbed, creating a ridge around the heels which inevitably rubs badly. I'm surprised anyone can wear them. Perhaps mine are faulty?
